Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 7
GoonerJay29 wrote:Fulham have launched an official complaint to the Premier League over Liverpool's apparent pursuit of Clint Dempsey.
A league statement read: "The Premier League has received a complaint from Fulham FC regarding certain comments made by Liverpool FC officials and is currently looking into the matter."
Dempsey was left out of Fulham's 5-0 victory over Norwich on the first day of the season, and has been omitted again for the game against Manchester United on Saturday.
The Fulham manager, Martin Jol, said he has omitted Dempsey because of the interest from Liverpool. The Reds have expressed an interest in signing the £7.5m-rated American forward, but have yet to table an offer, leaving the player and club in limbo. Liverpool declined to comment on Fulham's complaint to the Premier League.
Jol is frustrated by Liverpool's conduct and feels a distracted Dempsey is unfit to play once more. "It's the same situation. There has been no formal bid on the table and nothing has changed," Jol said.

Is there a rule that you have to bid on someone you claim to be interested in? And has Harry Redknapp been suspended for life for his billion violations yet?

Laudrup is a great coach, and he learned from one of the best, Morten Olsen
He really knows which players he wants and how he wants to play, the last time he had that control he dominated the danish league with Brøndby, a club that turned mid-table when he left.

MILAN HAVE reportedly decided to resume negotiations for Kaka but still insist on a loan deal.
Milan officially withdrew from the Kaka negotiations earlier this week but it seems that talks have resumed today but only using a third-side as FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti is player the role of the intermediary.
Bronzetti admitted before that there is a 0.001% that a deal would go through this summer but there seem to be developments in the last hours after the player was left out of the squad for the Spanish Super Cup.
There were rumours in the last days that Kaka is on his way to Manchester United on loan but they were never confirmed. Now both La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Italia report that Milan have given Bronzetti the green light to negotiate on their behalf with President Florentino Perez and they’ve already spoken today.
Milan insist on taking Kaka on loan, although Real Madrid still appear to be reluctant. However, if they’re planning on taking Luka Modric, Kaka would just be a burden financially for them. They’d rather transfer him permanently this summer but no club has made a concrete offer for him (according to Jose Mourinho on Wednesday). Ricky has reportedly agreed to cut his wages already but the negotiations remain difficult.

Milan and Inter are both battling to sign Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong, according to ANSA.
Deemed surplus to requirements in Roberto Mancini’s plans for the English Champions, the 27-year-old has attracted attention from several European outfits and is valued at €10m.
Having exchanging strikers Antonio Cassano and Giampaolo Pazzini yesterday, it seems the Milan clubs are back to fighting over transfer targets.
The Nerazzurri had shown an interest in the 2010 World Cup finalist earlier this summer, while the Rossoneri are now in the market for an imposing midfielder to strengthen their squad.

Marin, Moses, Hazard & now Mata for wide positions
Get rid of Malouda, tell Lampard to stop goalhanging, sign a Rb & save up for Nerman 2014 & this is a perfect summer.

Chelsea need width badly, it's a much needed signing.
Defence and midfield is still an issue but you can get around that by being tactically smart.

Which is why he will start on the left or right
Chelsea are blatently going to have Hazard and Moses wide and Mata off Torres.

I have been deceived there i thought Chelsea would play 3 in midfield with Hazard and Mata as AM's in a christmas tree system.
Oscar seems a bit of a pointless signing now for me as i don't see where he fits other than a Hazard/Mata back up.
Maybe long term he could be a Modric and replace Lampard but atm i don't see it.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 7
We're eventually going to be playing three AM's, give it time he's only been at the club for a week ffs. Marin, Hazard & Oscar in a fluid front three with Moses & Marin used as super sub's if it's failing.
Oscar even played DeeYem for large parts of yesterday's match & was extremely disciplined so he could even be used there from time to time with another player given the nod wide right in certain games.
GOAT team

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 7
West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has not ended his interest in Liverpool striker Andy Carroll but fears he would not have the money for a permanent deal.
"We would see if we could pursue it and clinch it, but if we only finish with Matt and nobody else I would be happy with the squad I've got.
"While it is not quite as big as I'd like it to be, I think it has got a lot of quality.
"My problem is there may not be funds available for Andy now.
"If Andy became available or anybody became available and they wanted to join West Ham, I would ask the owners. At the moment that is not the case and we just have to wait and see if and when that situation arises."
The former Newcastle boss added: "If we play Carlton Cole, Nicky Maynard, Ricardo Vaz Te, (Modibo) Maiga - they are all players that play in the front three wide positions.
"What isn't there is a proven Premier League goalscorer, apart from Carlton Cole who can get 10 or 11 goals a season.
"Nicky, Ricardo and Maiga are not proven so you hope it will be all right, but you cannot tell until you get eight or 10 games in."
