David Ornstein hasn't reported anything on Modric.

Sahin's buyout option won't be under 20 millions €. The reports are fake. He's got 4 years left on his contract.

Think the buy out thing is on madrid's end. Which means if madrid decides to sell Sahin, we will be the 1st team to allow to talk to him.

RG makes sense. Business is business. We aren't crazy enough to let go of him for peanuts.

De Rossi message in Roma win

By Football Italia staff

Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, Michael Bradley and Mattia Destro scored in Roma’s win over Aris Salonika, but all eyes were on Manchester City target Daniele De Rossi at the Olimpico.

The last couple of days were dominated by talk of a Manchester City offer for the ‘Future Captain,’ so the 40,000 fans chanted his name and unveiled a banner that read: ‘Hands off De Rossi!’

The midfielder was introduced to the crowd with the speaker’s words: “He chose Roma for life. Our most important signing – Daniele De Rossi.”

Osvaldo was set up by Miralem Pjanic to fire in a right-foot strike and open the scoring after 25 minutes.

New buy Federico Balzaretti’s screamer was beaten away with some difficulty, while Francesco Totti fired over the bar.

After the restart Balzaretti’s cross curled on to the head of Michael Bradley, but the American was denied by a fantastic Vellidis save.

Bradley’s celebration was only postponed, as he did manage to beat the Aris goalkeeper with another header from Rodrigo Taddei’s cross.

Erik Lamela was also denied by the impressive goalkeeper, but Vellidis made a mistake in the final minutes and Destro did not let the chance go begging for his first Giallorossi goal at the Stadio Olimpico.

That should put an end to those BS rumour's we've been hearing over the past few weeks.

Adriano Galliani has fuelled speculation over a swap deal involving AC Milan's Antonio Cassano and Inter's Giampaolo Pazzini, by admitting that an exchange is the most likely outcome for the player's departure.

It has been suggested that the Italy international will be used as part of a deal to bring in Pazzini from Inter and the Milan chief executive admitted that talks are ongoing.

"I will not deny something is stirring. Cassano asked us to be sold. The most likely solution is a swap," Galliani admitted in a press conference.

"There are negotiations in place, there is no doubt about that and we will see. As with all negotiations, they can conclude positively or negatively."

Galliani was asked about the rumours of a Cassano-Pazzini swap, but the executive simply smiled and stated: "I know nothing about it."

The comments came in the wake of the Rossoneri's 3-2 defeat at the hands of Juventus in the Berlusconi Trophy this weekend, of which Cassano did not play a part.

Ottmar Hitzfeld has warned prospective Bayern Munich signing Javi Martinez of the immense pressure that comes with a big-money transfer.

The 23-year-old was part of the Spain squad that won the European Championship in July and has since been linked with a €40m (£31.4m) move to the Allianz Arena.

And the former Bayern coach has suggested that the intense scrutiny the player would be under, due to his hefty price tag, will serve to raise expectations on the versatile midfielder.

"Of course, the pressure is immense on such a player. And of course, such a transfer also includes a risk," Hitzfeld stated to DAPD, recalling the issues of Mario Gomez on his big-money move to Bayern.

"How Martinez will deal with these insanely high expectations will be interesting. [There is] No Sheikh behind Bayern, it is hard earned money."

Martinez was not included in the Athletic Bilbao squad for their La Liga season opener, which they lost 5-3 to Real Betis.

Allegri won’t stop Cassano move

Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that the club won’t block Antonio Cassano’s exit after he asked for a transfer.

The Rossoneri confirmed last night that they are in negotiations with Inter over a possible swap with Giampaolo Pazzini.

And Allegri has now made it clear that the idea to leave Milanello has come from the man who joined them from Sampdoria in January 2011.

“It’s a shame,” Allegri stated to Milan Channel after the 3-2 loss to Juventus in the Trofeo Berlusconi tie. “Antonio has been here for a year and a half.

“He did really well in his first six months where he made the difference. Then the problem with his heart stopped him.

“I think that despite the qualities of Cassano, it’s not a good idea to keep players against their will – it would not be good for Cassano or Milan.

“We need a forward who can play close to a centre-forward,” Allegri added. “Let’s see how this situation evolves.”

Pazzini also left Sampdoria in 2011, but he chose to join Inter instead. He’s been told to find a new club as Nerazzurri boss Andrea Stramaccioni doesn’t think he can play alongside Diego Milito.
