Always wanna over look these players right?
Why are you so defensive in all your posts?

because I'm a fair person & when a player deserves praise, I will give it...
The man deserves credit for his effort & if I'm the only one who recognizes this, I will let it be known...

That might be your intention but that's not what your post shows
Why can't you just say 'Padoin played very well, he assisted both goals'
Instead of having to question everyone's motives?
I'm just saying man, to each their own
I like that you mention players like Padoin just try and do it more positively, rather than assume

Probably Padoin's first good match for us, but yea good performance.
Storari showed again he is the best second goalie we could ever have

It's good to see the team do positive things against foreign opposition . Good sign seeing as we have been playing against seria teams only for a little bit

Re: Juventus - Malaga
In summary -
Storari - simply awesome
Lich - should stick to RB/RWB. Horribly out of position as CB. Let him do what he does best.
Marrone - Interesting to see him as CB. Did pretty ok. Hes the 'Pirlo' behind the real Pirlo. Ie. playing the ball out from defence is so much easier when Marrone is your CB.
Lucio - very Meh
Asamoah - also average. Hes a much better player than that. Interesting to see him on left flank... not convinced though
Pirlo - very very rusty but still a class above the rest. Goes to show how good he really is.
Marchisio - the man is simply awesome.
Vidal - Not his best game. Harried well. Fought hard. Not much end product.
Padoin - His best game so far. Even that is not that eye catching. Sorry, but not Juve standard and at best - deserves a bench spot. Should be a starter for a mid level team though.
Giovinco - simply awesome. Added the missing element. the TQ role.
Matri - hes not a WC striker by any means but I think this season might see better from him with Giovinco behind him. He needs the service with the ball being delivered from close behind rather than long balls.
All in all - an average showing with some very exciting prospects.
Loved seeing Pogba, Untersee, Masi even.
Wish we couldve seen game time for Appelt or Buoy.

Re: Juventus - Malaga
I think it's a little harsh to call that game an average showing. Considering where we are in preseason, and how little time that italian internationals have been back, i was very pleased with the performance. The backline had some question marks, but i'm confident that will be sorted soon.

Re: Juventus - Malaga
Well - i dont think its harsh
I think its actually a compliment really..
If that is good play from us (granted it is only the start of the season), then Im worried we will not even scratch the surface of Champions league
I think a lot of our guys can play a LOT better than they showed.. and that, for me, is very exciting.
