A 2003 South Korean film. Oldboy is about a man who is imprisoned for 15 years, and when he is released he finds out he must find the man who held him imprisoned within 5 days. He learns who this man is, and why he kidnapped him. A truly suspenseful film that'll keep you on the edge of your seat, with a slight surprising twist at the end. A must watch!
My rating: 7.8/10

Oh and I just read that Spike Lee is doing a remake on Oldboy... He is just going to feck it up.

Awesome movie!

Watched it. It was good, and thought Sanjay Dutt made one scary villain.
Some of my friends suggested the following movies:
-Gangs of Wasseypur-part 1 & 2
-Dhobi Ghat
-Kaminey
-Go Goa Gone

Saw Fast & Furious 6
Very entertaining and worth a watch (although can be truly WTF and cheesy) but you shouldn't expect otherwise going into this movie.

Plus they tie in this with Tokyo Drift perfectly! With a cliffhanger as well

They really didn't think the series would have legs because they couldn't get the principals back for another sequel (remember, they couldn't even get Diesel back for the original sequel). The studio wanted to cash in while there was still a buzz surrounding the series, thus Tokyo Drift was made.

I am doing an assignment on Run Lola Run based on postmodernism.

Any input on the movie and postmodernism would be appreciated.

"Side effects"
A very good movie about a depressed girl and her psychiatrist. I shouldnt explain more because it will ruin the viewer's experience. Anyway, this is a must-see.
Rooney Mara  and Jude Law were great in this.

It depends on what you like in a movie. The acting and storyline in Lincoln is superb imo, absolutely top notch and it's very interesting as well. If you like history and/or politics, there is another feather in your cap. I think it's a fantastic movie all around and I would recommend it to anybody, but I also understand those that like flashy, CGI movies like Avatar or exciting movies like the recent Batman trilogy would be bored by Lincoln. It's a solid movie all around though and DDL puts in a great performance. It's certainly worth a watch.

The second question really depends on your morals lol, but it's worth paying imo.

Of course I loved the movie, I love history, and I quite like politics, and I hold a lot of respect and interest for Abraham Lincoln, so I was always going to like the movie. I can't speak for anyone else who isn't in the same situation as I.

Tl;dr I recommend it

It's intended to be a like a documentary and it feels like a documentary. It is long and it feels even longer.

The acting is superb though and DDL brings Lincoln to life. If you like history, you'd enjoy it.

I went to watch it with friends knowing little about it after a really hard day at Uni and I couldn't wait to go home
