Deulofeu or neymar are not at the 1st team. Cuenca can bé very useful now, well talk about if he has place when we have those players.

Suarez for all his talent doesn't score enough goals for me. He did in the Dutch league but that seems to have changed now.

No doubt, Spurs benefited alot from this deal

But I won't say I regret this by one bit. I think Modric is worth the money if that is what is required to get him. I rate him very highly. Hopefully he will debut vs. Barca and show it.

anyway we are not loling on the transfer, rather than the confindence that it was gonna cost less significantly than 40

Afellay's agent has said he will go on a loan this season most probably to England. Clubs that are interested in him are Arsenal, Tottetham, Newcastle and Liverpool. Liverpool would be a great move for him. Tika-taka with Sahin, Allen and Afellay or could be placed on the wing. Liverpool would be :bow:

if Afellay went there. Same could be said with Spurs. Spurs or Liverpool would be the best and most likely option for Afellay to go.

I am a massive Afellay fan though now that I have seen him recently. He has no place in our team anymore. A loan deal will be nice and if he does well in England then 10m will be coming into our banks for sure. He does not suit our style though in England. Tello is our future. Younger, faster in some ways and fits better than Afellay.
Hope he does well and I look forward to seeing him in England. I really do. Suits him, suits Barca and suits that English team.

No. Song will be used as a centreback and also a backup for Busquests. Not great though its something at least. If Afellay goes to Liverpool, will Barca ask for Agger in return? Not likely especially a loan deal. Just a thought I gues...

Agger isn't going anywhere. He's currently negotiating a new contract/extension and Rodgers has categorically stated that he will not be sold. Unless Barca have an extra 30m or so lying around the only club that had the interest and money for him is/was City, and they just got a new CB today.
