lol, Lass is worth well over 15M, that's a minimum, he is 25, and he has world class experience.

Lucky for us Conte really wants him, so maybe we can get a good price. but im not holding my breath, juventus is trying to low ball everyone lately.

Yeah well... Madrid never gets in the way of a player who asks to leave. That's how we're able to get people to commit to us despite our depth. If players thought that we played hard ball with them, they'd never take the chance.

So it's nice to dream. But Lass is 99.99% gone. This is just negotiation right now.

Gee Nick, you are full of surprises. Just a couple of months ago, you were saying Lass was shit. Note we paid 12M for him, why would he be worth any more today. He's a role player at best, definitely not a starter unless your team doesn't have a decent midfield and is forced to play a defensive game.

Sorry Sportczy - I think this is all about convincing him to stay (as a role player). If someone is foolish enough to over pay for him at 20M, then it makes good business sense.

lass is still shit, in my eyes but we need his skillset and the way the market looks at him is different th; Im very biased when it comes to lass, i might be very wrong.

we paid 18M for lass.

But Bill... when have we ever gotten in the way of a player who asked to leave respectfully? Never as far as I can recall. It's the Madrid way. It allows us to have the competition in our team because multiple WC players in the same positions will come to Madrid knowing they will not get boxed in.

Besides, Lass has already completely moved out of Madrid lol. He has no intention of coming back. He's just letting Madrid negotiate without interfering.

Lass wanted to leave last summer already, mou convinced him to stay, he offered him more money this time. we have been gentlemen, but he is looking out for his NT place, it's understandable. If he was playing for a different country he would have stayed.

We did when we gave Mou his power. Mou doesn't want him to go (not now nor last year). Mou will be saying sweet things to him if there is no offer. I was sure it was 12M we paid for him?? Nick say 18!!, In any event I still say he isn't worth 15 let along 20. So if we find a naive buyer, good - we have 20M to buy a replacement (or use it towards our transfer budget). But as I said, I think there will be no takers!!!

Fair enough - at least we agree on his value. (see Nick, I'm not the only one!!) Tell me Sportczy, what do we do once Lass is gone; do we get another pure DM or do we say we have enough MFs already plus we can use Pepe, Ramos, Albiol etc when a DM psecialist is called for?

only reason mou might really want a dm is to man mark or stop a certain force.

pepe can do that against barcelona.

or a miracle might happen and he might get essien who is b2b,dm,cm and has even played as an rb under mou in the past.

he can find payers and go total football on them

aka put them in different positions and adapt to ur needs.

LASS isnt needed in this team and he doesnt want to stay here.
