Different players. Sahin is a deep lying playmaker like Xavi, he has a great vision, ball winning and keeping abilities, he dictates the pace of the game and can also score and assist.He has a preferably higher command of tactics and ball possession. He can shoot from distance, is a good crosser and good free-kick taker.
Wilshere is B2B mid, has great stamina, has good work-rate, good passer, good defensive skills and atacking too. Reminds me of a Gerrard but with technical abilities.
Thiago has good passing skills, very good dribbler and good vision. Reminds me of Dinho, but he is more disciplined, and not as talented ofc.

Jack and Thiago have about the same ceiling, Wilshire is a bit more enjoyable to watch from my perspective and he really surprised me the way he stepped up over both legs against Barca.

I don't think Thiago's put in that level of performance just yet.

Sahin is a level above them because he has been the main guy on a championship winning team in a major league...but he's older so it's understandable.

Not often. Its because his control is great, his agility, acceleration and dribbling is great, his passing is great, and he is always about 2 steps ahead of his opponent, football is just easy and natural when you have all that, which is why its a pleasure to watch him play. Not that I completely (or even mostly) disagree with what your saying, all you have really said is

Sahin got to start because he had less competition and therefore grew into his game quickly. Jack less so but still gets a much bigger role than Thiago as he doesnt have two of the best in the game in front of him.

What you said was what they achieved, rather then who is better.

Put Sahin behind Xavi and Iniesta, he isnt any less of a player, but doesnt get those chances to be the key player and therefore would be viewed less in your view. Though again, he would be just as great as he is now.

Sahin easily. The way he dominated Bundi was simply amazing. A shame he is ostracized here.Bundesliga player of the year award is certainly not a small award.

Thiago has alot to prove against all sort of teams and have yet to complete a consistent full season and no he isnt on the same level of Sahin.

Wilshire is legit but im looking forward a full season from him to judge.

I don't view Thiago as a lesser player, not at all, but there is simply a level of respect you attribute to a player who has done what Sahin has done. It doesn't necessarily make him a better player, but it separates him to a degree from talents who haven't really had that type impact as of now.

So in that sense it's a difficult comparison due to the varying levels of exposure.

There's a thin line between measuring potential, and how good he actually is for a player like Thiago, we've seen him hold his own at the highest level but never seen him do anything particularly special...because of a lack of opportunity.

For me holding your own for Barca does not exactly equate to being a standout performer for Arsenal or Dortmund, (or Bilbao) , not because Thiago can't be , but that's just because of how it fell and there's really no other way to compare their levels at this moment.

Sahin, however he's older.

In terms of Thiago vs Wilshere I'd go with Wilshere for CM. In terms of CAM I'd go with Thiago.

As I said, dont really disagree with what your saying just pointing it out.

Sahin for me, at 22 he was single handedly destroying Bayern Munich, fantastic all round player, he's not really a CM from the few matches I watched of him, more of an attacking threat than a regular CM.

Wilshere for me slightly edges Thiago, it's a shame that the long term injury might halt his progress. It reminds of Canales who was tearing Primera teams apart when he was a teenager at Santander, the only Spanish youth I rate higher than Canales is Iker Munian.

they are all different types of CMs imo. sahin is the most different as he is a DLP, wilsher and thiago are pretty comprable but id say thiago is more attacking while wilshere is more rounded.

As per achievements, it is obvious Sahin takes the cake. But if you look at actual talent, i believe Sahin comes below Wilshere and Thiago.

I rate both Wilshere and Thiago equally, although i think the way they play is slightly different. I think if you played Thiago and Wilshere together, you would get an exceptional midfield.
