The point of that being??
There are at least 2 english midfielders that have higher talent ceilings

Re: #19 - Mario Götze
Goetze was Awesome today and there were a ton of great individual performances today, Moutinho was deadly as well today for Porto had a great goal and an unreal assist Throw in El Shaarway and IMO Iker had a great game too.
It's nice to see at the end of the group stages teams stop being cautious and start playing great football.
It's funny I was going to make a thread on Goetze. He's a weird player to judge not his talent but his price. What do you all think he's worth?
Remember he plays a premium position and is young and looks to be a star for the next 5-10 years. Plus the German pedigree doesn't hurt.
I'd say the bidding starts at 35 mill and probably would go for over 40 mill, what do you guys think?

Re: #19 - Mario Götze
Arsenal already have Cazorla for AM.
And Gotze was like 17/18 in 2010. I doubt a starting Real Madrid midfielder would be that young, unless he's exceptional.
Plus Ozil impressed at the WC.

Re: #19 - Mario Götze
It is true though. Im not a fan of his but he is a rare talent. This is what his manager said: "i can comment because i was around paul gascoigne at the same age. They have the same natural ability. He just goes past players with ease as if theyre not there. He sees a pass quickly and he can deliver the pass". When g.neville was asked who the best players he had trained with he mentioned morrison. Tbf he is only 19, some guys for whatever reason/circumstance break through later than those of lesser ability

Re: #19 - Mario Götze
They'll be known as the next joke of English football within 3 seasons, young Milners and Barrys, all of them.
Götze is the real deal. Better than Neymar still, future great if he doesn't turn out to be injury prone.

Morrison off the field will be his demise. if fergie can't get thru to you then what manager will? he has no hope....no doubt he has immense rare talent, but he thinks he's a gangster off the field

haha oh yea let's compare players based on what other people say about them. people like beckenbauer etc. labelled götze a player that is born only every 100 years so what does that make him compared to german legends that shit all over gascoingne. freakin ridiculous..
wilshere obviously has immense potential but it would be hairsplitting to talk about who has the greater "ceiling". not to mention that they don't even play in the same position u genius. such an attitude has contributed to the overvaluation of english players and will continue to do so

Hm. On the other side, Götze managed a goal-line clearance before. Maybe he lost orientation and thought this was the Dortmund goal? ^^

Re: #19 - Mario Götze
This looks a lot like he was hoping Lewa would shoot low, when of course Lewa was aiming where he always ends up aiming: way over the crossbar.

Re: #19 - Mario Götze
That has happened to me before
Felt like a damn fool cause not only did I jump into it but I spread my legs just like him to make sure the ball got as much surface area as possible
Hurt like hell.
inb4 SAF "Gotze could have been killed"

Re: #19 - Mario Götze
oh yea that does happen quite often... followed by the awkward part of lying on the pitch in pain for up to a minute, holding your ball sack, while the rest of the players looks on

my sides
anyway this is by far one of the strangest threads on GL
Gotze weiner -> Other footballers weiners -> Average Weiner Size by Country -> Kiranr's suspiciously defensive responses about his weiner -> Gotzes Price -> Can Arsenal afford Gotze? -> Gotzes potential -> Gotze's weiner

Episode 3
After getting caught with a massive boner in episode 1 and getting his testicles smashed in episode 2, this time Götze was caught pissing on the ground in Malaga's stadium:

I'd say it's common considering these guys have to drown a lot of fluids and are in constant movement. Plus, a lot of these games are in what I would consider cold weather.
