Higuain is a better goal scorer than Tevez and that is why Higuain is in the starting line up (when he is fit). Messi, Aguero, Di maria, Pastore and Lavezzi don't play the same role as Higuain (he poaches) and does a better job than any other player in the team.

also Higuain is not better by much then Tevez at goal scoring... 0.63 ratio to a 0.6 ratio ! So we have cleared the element of goal scoring...you have all the other factors...

Messi was good in the world cup he sometimes just tried to do too much.
Higuain has to start as he would be their target man

Tevez/Aguero/Lavezzi-Higuain-Messi

Tevez-Higuain-Messi

Messi really would be playing in the hole behind those players/atop the midfield.

Lavezzi-Messi-Aguero

But use Di Maria in big games. Di Maria likes to show up when it matters the most.

and i think brazil even played better at times.. it was messi who made the difference, a brazilian player (douglas) made a schoolboy's mistake and messi scored.. we'll see this time! hoping for a brazil-argentina final, i wanna see the argentines crying lol Wink

I agree, Lavezzi and Aguero both link up with Messi very very well and understand each other.

This midfield will fail IMO.They need a player who can link midfield and attack.Benega is a must and if not him Pastore should play.
