The 25-year-old striker attracted the attention of Europe’s top clubs after helping the Italian side finished fifth.

And after strong suggestions that the Serie A and Premier League champions were planning offers, Cavani dismissed any possibilities of a move.

"I know nothing about Juventus," Cavani told Corriere dello Sport. "I want to stay at Napoli."

As well as scoring 23 goals in 35 league appearances last season, Cavani steered his club to their first silverware in 22 years – by winning Coppa Italia.

The club slapped a 100million euros price tag on Cavani last year.
