Reports: Man City reject offer from Juventus for wantaway striker
Manchester City have rejected an offer from Juventus for Edin Dzeko, according to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Etihad Stadium side are believed to have turned down a bid worth £11.9m from the Serie A champions.
Juventus, who begin the defence of their domestic crown against Parma on Saturday, have yet to sign the marquee forward they’ve craved all summer, with the likes of Robin Van Persie and Luis Suarez among the Premier League-based stars to have turned them down.
Dzeko, who has been the subject of much conjecture during the transfer window, featured for City in their Premier League opener against Southampton on Sunday, and scored in a 3-2 win.
He has impressed in spells since his £28m move from Wolfsburg in January 2011, but Sergio Aguero's recent injury could allow him to stake a claim for a more prominent first-team role.

I don't believe the offered £11.9m, it's obvious that M.City won't let Dzeko go for this amount and I'm sure Marrota knows that as well
