Not sold, only being discussed. But it's AS reporting it, so it's very likely. They're saying the deal could be finalized in the upcoming hours. There will be a buyback deal included, so it is a glorified loan basicly.

Eh.. AS reporting it does not make it true. In the past few days, they have reported the transfers of Maicon, Modric and Silva and none of them are close. I wont believe anything unless I see it becoming official.

That being said, a move to Leverkusen with a buyback would be a good deal. He'll gain experience there and come back in 2 seasons time when we are done with Maicon :coffee:

He is being sold for 8 million and he has never made a first team appearance. Good deal and he has a buy back. He will have a chance to play CL as well.

I think its better for him to get some minutes in the XI and experience, his still not matured his gameplay yet but that will come over time.

Speaking of youths, whats gonna happen with Mceachran, Lukaku and the "new kaka aka" Piazon? Is it rot in the reserves, again?

Maicon will come till Dani improves over the next 2 seasons. Then watch him dominate over the right wing but until then be patient.

Carvajal is alot better than Arbeloa and even Casado looked great when he got his debut. why should we get Maicon when Carvajal could get his experience in our own very team??? competing against only ONE player who has a tendency of getting suspensions???

i wouldn't have minded Morata going on a buy-back because we don't necessarily need him atm and it would only jeopardise his career if he got promoted seeing as we only play with one forward and two fighting for it already, however with Carvajal its completely different, he doesn't even need to compete to get playing time
