Once we come up with a final format and compile the survey for the nominations I will ask the mods to create a global announcement for the thread, which will be able to be seen by all sections.

I'm personally against dividing awards by section, given that some sections have 50 active users while others only have 5. Doesn't seem exactly fair to me. Besides, a forum-wide award would be more representative of the entire forum.

Also there should be club ones imo. Some people might not always post in the general section.

There are club ones, there's a club section user of the season award for every club section.

It could be added, but I personally think that would be too many awards. It would mean adding 26 new ones.

We currently have 44 responses but some sections only have 1 or 2 nominees for their user of the section, so I'm awaiting those to fill up a bit more before closing. Another 24 hours should do?

I reckon only about 500 of those 1500+ are actually consistent posters.

so far as there is no Club section awards, you'll not get a lot of responses.... many posters dwell within their sections and are not familiar with all the "famous" posters in the General sections, if you ask me, adding the sectional awards would make them also get involved with the General Sectional awards more...
