Why are Germans of this generation sucky in penalties?

Agreed, very bad luck but then again, in my opinion, when you're in the last decisive penalty to tie a Champions League final you go with what works 95% of the time which is a straight, hard shot and not the fancy shit that might not work.

My NT experience begs to diffr...

Let's face it, a hard shot can fly all the way out to space and hit ramos' ball, thus having the chance to knock it off orbit and land rolling it in the goal of the earlier match

But Schweini is awesome at hard, placed shots.

Germans are stilljust as incredibke at penalties. Three of the four germans who took penalties scored. And Schweinsteiger, who missed the crucial penalty, is usually incredible clutch in penalties. Not to mention Schweini barely made the starting lineup because of a slight knock, and played 120 minutes and seemed like he couldve picked up a small knock at the end of the game, and still barely missed. Not making excuses at all. Schweini shouodve buried it and 99 times out of 100 wouldve buried it, but tonight was just not Bayerns night. Bayern outplayed Chelsea completely, but luck was completely on Chelseas side, and that proved the difference. But to say Germans are bad at PKs now is pretty ignorant honestly.

Germany have nothing on Brazil.
