O_O FM wonderkid! How good is he irl? Last time I watched him play he looked quite accomplished for his age, but like to shoot from range a bit to much for my liking. What do you guys think?

Re: The Official Arsenal Summer Transfers/Rumours Thread
Agent – Arsenal don’t want Arshavin back and we will find a buyer
“Why should the team keep a man, who gets a serious salary, but only spends from 10 to 15 minutes on the pitch from time to time? It’ll be even more difficult to sell him later. For now Arshavin’s past achievements are still remembered and he somehow managed to come up with three assists at Euro 2012,”
The rumours are saying that Arsenal are hoping to recoup €10million of the price they originally paid Zenit but Lakhter thinks there will be few takers at that price. “Only the clubs in the MLS are able to pay such money, but they won’t do it,” he said. “There’s also Anzhi, but after the recent changes in the club, I don’t think they need him as well.”
“There can also be options in the Gulf – Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates,”
“Although, knowing Andrey’s ambition and his high opinion of himself, one can assume that he won’t go in this direction.”
“I know that two Turkish clubs really want him in their ranks.”
“The most important thing for Andrey now is to go somewhere where he’ll be paid well.”

The bidding for M’Vila is yet to start
I hate all Twitter and never will believe anything they say from now on.
I would love to sign M'Vila but it wont be a big loss if we dont and hope we can go after Lucas Biglia.
“He is ready to leave,” Dreossi said. “For now there have been a few signs of interest, but no concrete enough offers for M’Vila to leave.
“The transfer window has only just opened, so we will wait for the right offer to arrive.
“He has true value, even if he put on an average European Championship display.”

We're willing to sell guys like Shazza and Bendy, but have shite like Almunia and Squillaci eating up funds on the sidelines
We should blindfold them, drive them both out to a remote location in the Welsh hills and just leave them there

Squillaci will (hopefully) soon sign with Bastia, as they've shown interest.
I like it how Arsenal is dealing with these players, Diaby should be added to that list aswell imo. Hope we can get some good money on atleast Arshavin, Vela and Bendtner.

I'm not all that concerned about how much money we get for these players, just so long that, by the end of the window, they're off our wage bill.

Thats great, Betis have been in need of a striker since they got promoted because the ones they have are very old, expect him to make a Vela like impact and play regularly
hope he doesn't disappoint i like watching them play, such a good team with beautiful football played

I guess that's another opportunity for Denilson to prove he's actually decent enough to warrant the money we're asking for him and the wages Sao Paulo and ourselves are paying him.
So, yeah, good luck to him, I guess.

Can the mf consisting of Wilshere-coquiln/song-Ox work in theory?

If by theory, you mean FM or FIFA, it will work wonderfully. But in reality, that midfield is too young/immature/inexperienced to work just yet. Maybe 3 years later, assuming Ox develops without becoming the next player to take a season off injured and Jack comes back fit from the really long layoff.

Yeah, that's the position he really wants to play. Sri is probably right though, that that's a bit young of a midfield to put out there.

Re: The Official Arsenal Summer Transfers/Rumours Thread
Also, you have to consider that Wilshere might be not be the same player after his injury as he was before it. He has missed 10 months of football, after all.
Chamberlain will play centrally in due time, but best not to rush it. We've still got Arteta and Rosicky, after all.
