LOL Y so mad?Kingofeverythingclassy wrote:animal.crackers wrote:Too bad FFP will never work classy.
I believe it has already started working. Inter Milan Machester are cutting their losses(in MU's case they did not make losses) & are decreasing their wage budget & buying efficiently.
Even Barca & Madrid are not spending rashly. I think everyone or most of the big clubs are firmly behind FFP as without FFP club football has no future. Even Chelsea and City are forced to cap their transfer budget at 50-60 Million pounds odd.
Otherwise you guys would probably be spending 200 Million pounds of transfers.
FFP is probably the only reason why yoy did not buy a VERY expensive guy in the winter transfer window despite Mancini crying for a transfer every day.
I think FFP will come in. Maybe their will be more shady stadium deals but you cant POST 200 Million losses anymore. You cant. It will have to come down to a reasonable 20-40 million odd.
FFP will grab City by the balls.

Dude, you're talking like if Bayern bought only garage sale players and played in dirt fields.
Bayern don't need to buy players of that calibre because there's no need for them. The youth academy has done it's work and pretty much cemented the first XI, with even a few bench players included. A few more depth buys and the team is set.
Bayern can totally afford big buys. They just don't need any right now. Hell, just last season Neuer was bought. That Bayern don't spend 100m on a player doesn't mean they don't have money... because there is. The stadium is payed off in 2016 and you can and will see City/Madrid type purchases for guys they really want.
Bayern don't have anything to learn from Madrid, and Madrid don't have anything to learn from Bayern (except maybe to use your academy more ).
- Spoiler:
and how to reach CL finals :vagi:
Totally agree. Reading some of the Bayern fans here, i just thought Bayern are loathe to taking loans for buying players.

I find it HILARIOUS that all of Kingofeverythingclassy's posts(as a new member) have been arguments and anger.

Re: Hoeness launches attack on the plastic clubs
This was a wonderful read and I must thank Izzy for his patience in dealing with that poster, what's his face, Idro or whatever and this "new" is a cut of the same cloth. Thank goodness I hated Bayern long before those 2 showed up on my radar.
Also, from what I gathered and I know there is various aspects missing from this is that Real Madrid has enormous revenue streams coming in but at the time, didn't have liquid cash to fund the purchases. So, they took out a loan based on the earnings they would be making which is normal business practices anyway you take it.

Everyone should follow the Manchester City model .
City has no model, class or history. City model is about selling one's mom-dad & family for money. My Club is my family & I know FC Bayern will never be sold.
City is Sheikh Mansoor's little toy which he plays with,it is run by oil money. City sold their soul & their family well back. There is no model about a disgraced club.

Everyone at City is confident we will be fine with it.
You only have to show that you're heading in the right direction to pass FFP I believe. So say we lose 100m one year, 90m the next, then 80m the next, we're showing a pattern of improvement and that is what they want.
Also we have sponsorships (several new ones), an improved kit deal coming, and the previously elusive Champions League revenue that will improve our finances. And also we'll finally clear a lot of deadwood on big wages out in the next 3 transfer windows through sales or contract expirations.
The fact that there are categories of expenditure allowing you to go into deficit mean creative accountants, and I assure you City will have the very best, can easily warp the books. I guarantee you that even after these rules come into play the situation will look very similar to how things are today.
If City continues fielding teams full international superstars UEFA will not want to lose them and will bend the rules. These measures will slowly begin to gain traction, but not in this decade will they be anywhere close to legal gospel.
City have won the league and stand a good chance of going far in the Champions League before the rules even come into effect, meaning that they will eventually become a bigger and bigger club.
The fact that the powers that be in the middle east were able to get the World Cup to Qatar just shows that nothing is beyond these people in the world of business.

Classy, you know FFP is probably shit, right?
Not that running your club well is worthless. I mean how does having more money, less losses hurt you?
Nevermind if you throw sugar daddies into the equation.

Considering FFP will have a strong affect on teams, yes. Profit 29 of the last 30 years I believe while have a youth academy first type model.
Most teams would prefer a Bayern model to a City model.

City have sold their soul? Stop talking out of your *bleep* ass ... especially when you have no clue what you're talking about. City are one of the big clubs that still have it's truly local identity.
Funny a Bayern fan should be questioning a club's "soul." In Germany everyone hates you because your are a plastic glory 'huntified' club.

No. FFP is not that stupid. Losses have to be capped at 45 Million Euros for a 3 season period. That is like 35 Million Pounds odd for 3 seasons. Something like 12 Million Pounds each year.
Maybe if you miss it by 4-5 Million pounds you will probably not get a sanction. But there is nothing like we decreased out losses from 100 to 80,now let us play.
No FFP has nothing like that.
Yes your revenue is increasing. But lets see if it is enough otherwise dont crib when you are banned for CHL

Didnt Bayern took loans for their Stadium?
They couldve avoid spending on players, sell their players, make profit and finish 15 th or what ever place and build the stadium with out loan right?
bayern had to take loans for Stadium because they wanted to buy players and continue competeting for trophies
the moral high ground shown by some Bayern fans in this forum

Re: Hoeness launches attack on the plastic clubs
The funny thing about all this is that City fans really don't give a rat's ass about what others think or say at this point. They just won a Premier league title after 50 odd years while making old Red Nose suffer. Seriously...

I have nothing to reply to such a dignity & class-less post. I hope admins atleast check such abusive one's.
Anyways I dont expect a dignified response from a City fan. Anyways being a City fan itself is an insult because the club was sold to Oil Money. A Club which is like a family to many. That is equivalent to selling your parents for money.
That is what a club City is. Nothing more to add them. Hope admins atleast check some of the dignity less attacks which are common among some City & Real fans. The Real fan called me a lier when I was saying the truth about the losses & anyone who is not 8 would know that.
New guys are not even allowed to post links. I guess this is Real & City fan's playground. Everyone has to suck up to you guys otherwise they get abused.

I agree people should follow City Model in pissing Ferguson off, but then again you can say they learnt that from us.

We pay 25 Million to FC Bayern AG every year to pay the stadium. Bayern AG are a separate entity to Bayern so technically we have no DEBT. Not even Stadium Debt.

I'm now calling you a hypocrite because Bayern ahve taken out loans and you sit there lambasting other teams that have taken loans.
I'm now calling you an elitist. This moral high ground you have don't exsist. You took out loans. You bought players for big money.

You are all clearly unwilling to budge from your positions and this ceased to be a constructive conversation long ago. Recognise this, step away from the keyboard and calm down. This isn't directed at one poster but all.
