Who is Premier League's player of the season ?

Surprised none of the PL fans made a thread,or is there already one ?

Yup,some may have obvious choices ,but i am curious to know the consensus on this forum as people have their own criteria of who they think PL's player of the season is.

There might be some contentious choices in here but feel free to correct me..I thought it would be fair to include Newcastle and Tottenham player as they deserve some amount of recognition this season rather than having half of United or City's eleven in the poll.

I would've included Silva,but i have watched some City's games in the 2nd half of the season and he wasnt very decisive as he was in the first half..

I thought the more consistent and significant Joe Hart deserves to be ahead of him..

Adebayor on the list

It's between Kompany and van Persie IMO.

Coloccini > Cabaye

Cabaye has been fantastic and shown what a complete midfielder he is by playing as a DM most of the season and winning more tackles and intercepting more passes than anyone....plus adding assists and goals when he's allowed more creative freedom which id like to see Pardew allow more often next season.

But Coloccini has just been brilliant he's been as consistent as Kompany ( although Kompany's performance high is higher) and basically kept our defence by himself while playing with championship players for most of the season has just been outstanding. ( Until Santon had a long run in the last couple of months)

I cant wait to see how well he performs next season with some genuine quality alongside him instead of Williamson and Simpson.....

As for Tottenham, i agree with Surag's choice of Adebayor he has been inconsistent like alot of Tottenham players this season but he has brought so much to this Tottenham side this season and without him they wouldnt have finished 4th IMO.

As for player of the year its between Kompany or RVP for me the rest have been far too inconsistent for me to consider.

BTW I would choose Mata over Ramires for a Chelsea option.

Initially i had Mata in the list but then i changed my mind and put Ramires instead.

But I think it's expected when majority of them are Madrid fans.

There are a lot of players who helped their teams a lot.In my opinion you can't separate them.Some of them are: Aguero, Silva, Kompany, Dempsey, Adebayor, Rooney, Demba Ba, Juan Mata, Robin Van Persie, G.Holt.If i would really have to choose one i'd choose Aguero because he scored the most important goal of the season. Without that goal, the season would have finished in a different way.Second place is reserved for Robin Van Persie.
