Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is prepared to buy Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi for Pep Guardiola.

El Confidencial says Abramovich wants to bring Pep Guardiola to Chelsea - and is willing to wait for the former Barca coach should he stick to his plans to take a year away from football to live in New York.

The prospect of buying Messi has been tentatively discussed and it's suggested Abramovich would not blink should Guardiola demand the Argentine's signing.

Messi's €250 million buyout clause is within Abramovich's reach and Chelsea's marketing men believe they would make their money back in shirt sales and merchandise.

Elia has reached an agreement with Schalke.Now only the fee has to be agreed between both clubs.

Van Der Vaart will be badbuy because he is 29 & a 45-60 minute player & any transfer fee in excess of 5-6M is way too high for him. Van Der Vaart is IMO the most talented CAM in the last 10-12 years but he does not have the heart & spirit. That is why a less talented SNeijder overtook him as he is a winner.

Elia is RIdiculously quick guy & an insane dribbler. At the worst he will be a quality Sub. Elia comes with a User Manual though & it takes a good caring coach to get the best out of him. I believe Stevens can do it.

Schalke desperately need a RB though. And a damn good one.

Matip is not creative enough neither is the Gladbach guy. Holtby would start at CM as the guy pulling the creative strings. He is a Superb talent. Schalke were linked to Clasie & I am relieved that Clasie does not want ti move abroad at this time as moving abroad at such a young age usually is bad thing to do. Clasie is the best Dutch talent coming up.

Draxler will play at LW is VDV comes. Last year he played LW. They have Obasi too. Their defense with the former Mainz LB & Howedes & the Greek guys i allright. But RB is a huge weak link.


Last year they also suffered because they could not control the Central Midfield.
