Just because he has an advantage and Durant less so, doesnt mean he HAS to shoot more than KD.

I was thinking Pick and Roll to open Up Amare and get him ivolved and easy buckets without requiring Iso.

Because I don't see him having individual success without the pick and roll in full effect.

I was thinking Amare off the bench for the playoffs and than trading him in the offseason is what needs to happen, him getting a max contract is why teams go broke, Steve Nash made Amare an all-star, and he doesn't work well with Melo who is a much better player.
Knicks would be 2x the team with a PF that can Rim Run, grab boards and play d. None of which Amare can do.

And for the Heat, who goes on Melo? Bron, Battier? But what if Melo is playing the 4? does Bosh play center vs Amare and Chandler?

Definitely not Battier, Melo will take him to the rack before he even thinks about contesting the jumper lol.

Bosh is 3rd option, off the pick and roll he's going to be weakside, the most they can hope is to keep him away from the paint by clogging it and contest his 15 footers.

Shumpert is a beast he will hassle Wade a bit.

Fields is a question mark, I honestly think Melo will go on him when it matters.

If I am NY, I am torn between protecting the paint and stopping Bosh.

If you let Bosh shoot jumpers and have it easy by ignoring him, then he will light you up. So in that sense, you want Chandler bothering him.

However, you want him protecting the paint and organsing the entire defences structure.

I wouldnt want Melo tiring himself out guarding Bron, but at the same time Amare and Chandler need their minutes. Its a tough one.
