Yeah Gomez is missing chances but he's getting into dangerous places which is what he's so good at.

And the "big game flop" scored against Madrid and also scored in the penalty shoot out. He scored twice against city in the group stages and a hattrick against Napoli within the first half.

It was a tap in but players like Van Nistelrooy, Trezeguet etc have made world class careers out of tap ins.

Being a poacher isn't simple, nowadays if you don't dribble and score wonder goals you're underrated as f**k.

He gets himself into dangerous areas and makes deadly runs. Don't underestimate players who score tap-ins. Gomez is 2nd top scorer in the CL and 1 goal behind Messi. Messi has had 4 penalty goals from normal time and Gomez 0.
