I have an uncomfortable gut feeling that the final will be contested between Manchester United and Barcelona if they avoid each other in the the other rounds

Nah, I think Real Madrid will win it this year.

It may mean we sacrifice the league, however it makes sense.

It's Mourinho's 3rd season and winning the CL on his way out will mean he's had a successful time in charge.

Chelsea will reach semis and lose to Real Madrid, who will eventually be defeated by Juventus or Barca in the finals......about City, they will lose in the quarters, and Manchester United also. No German team will make any impact.

We have Lille next And we beat them & go on top. The we win the next 2 games, face Madrid in the Pre-Quarters & humilate them on 2 legs.

Bate match was a good enough warning of under-estimating opponents. I am sure it has gone through the mind of the players.

Ohh & City will definitely beat Ajax. This is the weakest Ajax team I have seen.

City will go on 4 points, Dortmund-Madrid anything can happen. City have a home tie left with Madrid.

If City had held on to their 2-1 lead at Madrid things would be very different now. None-the-less Madrid have only won a Home Match against City & a match against Ajax.

City @ home & Dortmund @ Home & Away will decide the Group for Madrid.

we will play City last, if we win all our remaining games which is likely, i doubt we will field our first team then, so it wouldn't matter, also City might be out of CL completely by then
