1. La Liga will take a commanding lead in CL/European Cup wins with 14 championships, 2 more than Serie A and 3 more than the English Premier League (and the predecessor top English division).
2. La Liga will begin to approach Serie A's 26 presences in the finals with 23. The next competitor the EPL with 18 will be far behind.
