Majority of it was in the second half as well.
First half he rarely tracked back and never maintained his mark.

Come half time, Ozil played like an absolute monster in the midfield.

i think that we as fans like to speculate on that purely because our midfield is shit (typically)

but as far as his position goes, he is a natural CAM/AM and besides the last match has never really shown an inclination to be as defensive.

he can be a very good cm but i dont want him to be cm, he is to become our next RM legend as AMC, continuing the zidane tradition with madrid, why the hell we would want him to be CM.

He can become a CM. He has good agility and dribbling to pull it off. Also his stamina would improve.

We have the best young CM in the world.

What's the point?

He can be the most attacking of the CM's in a 4-3-3

His dad/agent will rage quit for him if he is used as a CM.

papa ozil is a big influence but i dont think he would mind if his son played CM as much as long as he is playing and getting big games.
