Is Mesut Ozil the best player in the PL?

was sarcastic:D. Isco is limited ffs. The guy's creativity is on Ronaldo's level. He has incredible ball control and dribbling, but except that he's average. He's a better dribbler and finisher than Ozil, but other than that he has nothing on Mesut.

Are these attributes more important for a midfielder than final pass, vision, passing(long,short,crossing), link-up play, first touch, appreciation of space, off-the-ball movement, decision making ?

I agree lol. isco plays through balls pepe could see smh. he has no vision in the final third and is just slick with the ball. has a few goals to show for it but that's not what we were looking for. waste of money and time will show i'm right

And no.. it aint nothing for a midfielder in that position.. thats for sure lol. We have CR, now bale, and benz/morata leading the scoring. we don't need isco popping up in benz's position and scoring, we need him passing. thats his job and he was benched by carlo for not doing that

I don't know what kind of scout you guys have at Madrid but even I who only saw Isco a couple of times last year ( CL and vs Barca ) knew what kind of player he is. He is exactly the player i thought, even if i think that with a proper system that suits him well and regular playing he will be a beast at what he does best.
He isn't a playmaker for sure.

You can't buy player and expect them to change the nature of their play.

At least he's the most in-form PL player.

I haven't seen United much this season, but I'd still rate RVP above Oezil. He's up there, though.

Aaron Ramsey is the best right now. It might be form, but it's being a very long patch of form.
