Re: Di maria
No, I'm telling you that it's a moot point if half the league dives on a regular basis. At least Robben doesn't get away with it regularly in the Bundesliga.
Robben is still a sad punchline to a nonexistant joke, though. Luckily I am not a Bayern fan - I just want them to do well, because I'm a German NT fan and many of our players do play for Bayern, so I typically want them to perform well, hence I tend to support them in Europe, and quite enjoy them losing in domestic matches.

Re: Di maria
I got hugely offtopic there. What I meant to say was far more trollish: Barca supporters can't really compline about Dive Maria if they have Alves and Biscuits. This isn't something that is an one-player-problem. Maria is a prick, but the whole of La Liga needs to tackle that issue, sadly it seems to be seen as "clever" to playact well by many. Annoying as f*ck to watch.

No one here, Barca fan or Inter fan etc has complained, but more or less brought to attention and laughed.VivaStPauli wrote:I got hugely offtopic there. Re: Di maria
Wasn't commenting on the OP, I just think it's a league-wide problem that needs to be dealt with. It's not just Biscuits and Dive Maria, the FA needs to step in ASAP. I bet 90% of Barca fans look away with a hint of shame on their faces whenever their players roll around as well. It's not like most people like their players diving.
The FA really needs to step in, it's not that hard. Just do what the Italians do, and slap a one- or two-game ban on them if you see the dive on video.

The rolling around happens just about everywhere. There is no reason to single out Barcelona.

Re: Di maria
I was just using Barca as an example because I was taking a stab at them earlier and tried to give their supporters credit: I'm pretty sure a lot of you don't appreciate the dives either.
Same goes for Madrid fans, who, at least I hope so, don't like the dive Maria antics. And I still liked Germany when Möller and Klinsmann played for us, and they were huge divers. I'm trying to point out that there's just too many divers in La Liga, and they need to be stopped. All of them. Not just di Maria, not just Biscuits, all.

Re: Di maria
Diving =/= play-acting.
Players from all leagues dive and play-act. It is not a La Liga thing. More soft fouls are given in La Liga if that is what you are mistaking for diving.

it will be more fair from me to say barca dives more but RM dives FOR more.. for example madrid dives right outside the penalty area to win a foul for ronaldo or insidefor a penalty or to win a yellow..
but barca dives like always.... every touch every contact leads to a dive even if they can stand on feet they do fall..

Where? It does not in the PL. It does not in Serie A, only diving does there. I have not seen much of Bundeliga. So yeah, it is not a La Liga thing.
If you are going to make such a claim, atleast provide evidence. Otherwise, i am just inclined to believe you are trolling.

Re: Di maria
Thats BS deadrave, if that were true why would Pepe dive in his own half all the time?

That is what happens when you have highly technical players trying to keep the ball in tight spaces. Not many teams can do that. So with every contact where they lose their balance and fall. It is a legitimate foul. Soft, yes, but legitimate.

Ok 85% of Barca fans are ashamed of it, and the rest legitimize it. Sorry for my previous inaccuracy.

Re: Di maria
could we say the same about sergio? I don't see why so many people bash Alves more than Di Maria or than Ronaldo, he doesn't dive all that much, guess it's because the one of few dives he did was against Madrid and was a red.deadrave wrote:pepe is erratic he is an exception
