Never liked di maria ever since he joined RM. He just dosent know when to stop, hes not only making mockery of himself but also tampers the reputation of RM. Great player, yet brainless at the same time :facepalm:

Di maria and Buscuit makes me hate La liga. They are both good players and dont need to dive but they still do which pisses me off.

The way I see it..pretty much every major team has ( had ) at least one diver.I don't watch much of the Bundesliga so I can't attest to the Germans, but I'm sure their famed efficiency would have translated to diving as well.

My point being, clearly team management has no interest in discouraging this shit. As fans, it shouldn't be about singular players or teams..that's just petty. This is an actual blemish on the game, and isn't even limited to the penalty area at this point. I hate it when my players do it. Hate it when my rivals players do it.

Then comes the question of technology. I say fk this question. Why not just have a goddamn video review AFTER the game and hand out bans/fines. ( like what they do to adjudge the intent behind serious fouls, and even racism in extreme cases ).

Isn't it as simple as that ? Players know if they dive, they'll win the foul..but they're still going to be held accountable in the near future. Thus becoming a serious concern for both teams and players.

Am I missing something ? Because I'm baked..and that seems like a blatantly simple solution...

The only argument against it , that I see, would be the Alves-Pepe example..when it's anyones call between foul or dive.
