Disgusting, shouldve been booked for diving but he just gets up when the ball gets to him and assists. Not surprised to see yet another ref without the balls to book Madrid players for diving.

it was play acting not diving.
the contact was there and it was a really firm knock.
but his rolling on the floor was disgraceful.
that being said that sort of challenge from behind warranted a yellow card so i think it was a correct call but damn di maria stop rolling on the floor its embarrassing.

If the ref booked players for every dive not ONE game would be completed in La Liga as half the team would be sent off.
I didn't see you complaining when the ref said play on, Sporting got the ball and then we won the ball back and scored. FAIR and simple.

What's the difference between a referee in Spain booking a player for diving and booking a player for a tackle that isn't a yellow anyway? Which happens almost every game in La Liga

I hate watching Di Maria just as much as I hate watching Busquets. It was at an all time low for him during Copa America, the South American players who don't play in Europe were looking at him like he was crazy.
Instead of carding players when they dive because it is very hard for a ref to tell if a guy dives or not and weather the contact was enough to take him down etc. (Look at the Tevez yellow today for diving when his foot was clearly stepped on but from the refs angle it looked like a dive.) I think if you roll around on the ground in agony you should have to sit our for a minute. I think that would stop a lot of the non sense as if you really are hurt bad enough to look like your going to die then clearly you need a minute to get yourself back together.
Something needs to happen because the ref's job is hard enough to add that nonsense to it especially if football refuses to use technology of any sort during a game. I mean I think people forget that when you watch a game at home you get to see slow motion replays from every angle possible with camera's zooming in 100% on the incident. That's why I just think it's so stupid when people claim the refs are cheating.

I do not see where any Barca fan said they do not dive, all I have seen was me saying it isn't the first time he has done that, fact and that if he were to get carded madrid fans would get mad, all true but for some reason you guys take that to the highest offense and jump on saying we are hypocrites etc, you guys need to chill out
