Btw you should all shut your big fat mouths.Firstly, alot of penalties have been given for shirt pullings before and just because barca are involved there has to be a shitstorm.Secondly,we had a penalty on sanchez not given to us in the San Siro and if this one wasnt a penalty then its justice.

Barca think they deserve the lead because they scored 2 penalties and got 0 in open play

Re: Barcelona-Ac Milan;Champions league's quarter final second leg.
If this were given every time it happens, there would be penalties on nearly every corner. Is it technically the right call: yes. Is it fair and balanced refereeing to give a penalty on that play: no. It's not that some refs don't give the penalty. It's that MOST refs don't give the penalty. I'm not even talking about in other competitions. That's RARELY a penalty in the UCL. Inconsistency should be the discussion here, not the letter of the law. Players cannot do their job if they don't know what to expect from the referee.harhar11 wrote:Mamad wrote:Second penalty wasn't a penalty. This happens in all corners but again referee must do a favour for Barca in a hard CL game.
Just give the title to them ffs.
Shirt pull = foul and if its inside the area = penalty
Just because some ref and following the rule doesnt mean that its not a penalty..

Re: Barcelona-Ac Milan;Champions league's quarter final second leg.
this is what goal.com's live commentary said:
"What was Alessandro Nesta doing there. From the corner, the defender has an absolute fistful of Busquets' shirt. A penalty was the only decision that could be made there. Nesta is booked, as is Seedorf for protesting. Milan's hard work has been undone."
What a joke of a football site!

What annoys me most is that Milan are throwing this away. I want them to go through ffs! grrrr
Blaming the ref is a cop out though...for the 2nd, Nesta should have known better not to tug Busquets shirt like that, especially at the nou camp, where the away team hardly get anything in the CL. It was just silly..

Ganso wrote:90% of refs wouldnt give that 2nd pk,but were talking about refcelona here.no one can stop uefcelona from making a Madrid-Barca final
They made a spanish ref officiate the Bayern vs Marseille match and 5 key players got yellow card, they are now only 1 yellow card away from being suspended when we meet Madrid in semi final..
Uefa needs to stop making a fool of themselves.

Re: Barcelona-Ac Milan;Champions league's quarter final second leg.
For the record, I ain't butt hurt or whatever but it is always strange to see a penalty like that happening during a situation like that. Understandable if Milan fans feel incredibly sour after that call.
Although they should feel equally upset over the 1st one which was just as bad as questionable refereeing...

Should not have been a penalty.. This feeling flashes me back to the RVP red card.
The game isn't over yet. stay optimistic.

I wonder when Will Barca fans admits that their team has been getting some favorable calls in recent times. and other teams don't get such calls in such important matches.

Re: Barcelona-Ac Milan;Champions league's quarter final second leg.
It's an absolute disgrace. We got the police officers (Xavi and Busquets) asking for a foul and cards at every opportunity, we got an incredibly biased/paid off ref giving a ludicrous penalty. If this is how the game ends, then Barca are progressing totally undeserved.
Madrid fans, I sympathize with the bullshit that you guys have had to deal with for the bast couple of years, and now I completely understand your hostility towards Barca. Unbelievable.

Re: Barcelona-Ac Milan;Champions league's quarter final second leg.
I always try to be fair watching a match, but watching what my team went through just in the first half, it is just disgraceful...
The first penalty, fair enough, could go either way
The second penalty? Absolute joke, corner kick for Barca = penalty, you must not touch any Barca player during corner or else...

@vivabarca - ok, but how about when El Sharaawy was plowed in the box in that same game?

Re: Barcelona-Ac Milan;Champions league's quarter final second leg.
Did everyone see how all the Barca players were crowding the refs pleading for the red card after first penalty???
They expect everything from the refs.
You would never see Sacchi's Milan players acting like that. It was different back then. im starting to hate today's product.

By your logic then Milan deserved a ghost goal today for a Sheva disallowed goal for Puyol's dive back then?
