I think they would.
Hendo-Ramsey-Gerrard midfield would be fantastic. And they will finally have an extra match winner in Bale. Would free up so much space for Rooney to operate with Studge and Bale spreading the defense.
There will also be a very good bench, no more Welbecks and Cleverlys. Sterling, Walcott, Joe Allen, Barkley, Lallana
The defense though, still meh. And Woy still the manager So yeah not much improvement.

Re: The Three Lions
Problem with England isn't quality, it's just the way the players play. The team ideally needs a foreign manager who plays positive attacking technical football. A manager who's flexible, tactically astute and can get the players to play like a big team. There's a lot of technical quality in the team this year.
Bale and Ramsey would change things in terms of individual quality, but when it comes to winning things teamwork matters more.

Re: The Three Lions
Not THAT surprised with the Squad
Milner's inclusion is justified IMO. He is a player who can play anywhere required and will do a good job. Unless it's at RW, ST or LW.
Lampard is going for banter. Not that there was any other option tbh. Should have taken Clyne as the second RB though.
England's chances depends on Rooney's mood and Wilshere's fitness. Defence is garbage. No hope there

Still think Barry should have been there. Especially with the squad lacking a DM.

Re: The Three Lions
This is a good NT anyway .. in Euro 2012 it was worse with Carroll to play against Italy. And even 1 year ago it looked like worse because Lallana,Sterling, Sturridge were not raised in this way
The real problem is that this NT doesn't look like a football team under Hodgson , unlike of Italy with Prandelli , and when you have this problem it's even to useless talking about names .. anyway if we talk about names, on paper this NT would have even good possiblities to arrive first in group Imo.
we'll see ... I wonder if the lack of pressure can help this time.

Nothing to laugh about. He was a really good player who got hit by injuries... which then resulted into depression .

Only players who became decent were richards; who will be decent when he leaves city, micheal johnson; who was a great player until the injuries, and walcott; who is by far the most successful player there.
Fun fact: can you believe Ben Amos and Sam hutchinson still play for their respective clubs?

Re: The Three Lions
Good team except for Welbeck being on the left flank again. Will be interesting to see whether it's Lallana central with Welbeck and Sturridge either side or Rooney deep with Sturridge leading the line.

Re: The Three Lions
Adam Lallana created 68 chances in the Premier League this season, more than any other English player.
No English player completed more take-ons in the Premier League this season than Raheem Sterling (92).

Re: The Three Lions
Struggling to break down paraguay Henderson and Gerrard together meh. Need Wilshere or Barkley.
Or Milner to control the Midfield.
Need to play Sterling for Welbeck and play on the Counter like a small team

Gerrard-Henderson never works without Lucas or Allen.
You need another guy between or behind them.

Re: The Three Lions
Every time Welbeck has started on the left he looks he has no defined role and no idea what he should be doing. I've no idea why Hodgson keeps putting him there.
Rooney is playing badly in that midfield role. Shame Hodgson won't have the balls to drop him.
