i watched this awhile ago, but i think they tested whole bunch athelete abilities of CR here... and they did compare his vert to NBA players, but dun remember the results.

I think that is very unfair to say. Basketball needs a lot more skill than what people think.

And no it not unfair, I didnt say all, or even most ballers...however, there a few who are in the league based on nothing but physical gifts.

by that logic every sportsman is talented since all of them have had that one moment in their career that is out of the norm and is truly special

But, that wasnt Crouch's only moment of outstanding technique so no, that doesnt really work.

And even if it was, there are NBA players who havent had that one moment.

Bottom line, without their size or physical gifts there are a rare few NBA guys who wouldnt be anywhere near the league.

that would be an epic generalisation ,but since i havent seen that much of NBA to be able to argue the point , i wont.

Honestly you need rare physical gifts just to be considered in the NBA (for most), and many guys get into the league (and proceed to burnout) based on physical talent alone.

Football in my experience helps you alot in basketball in terms of footwork , so I don't doubt that some tall footballers would be able to get into the league.

I just doubt Ronaldo would because he'd be an extremely average athlete.

@Hades...it isn't. Trust me, there are guys in the NBA who get drafted in the first round based on size and height despite the fact that they lack any court awareness or skill.They just get drafted and teams hope they learn.

if ronaldo cant succeed in basketball then no footballer can excluding "freak" size ones and saying that ypothetically as you all talk here, considering ronaldo's quickness n jump if he is to be average then every1 else would be below average.

and i say it again this is all ypothetically since we dont know their quality on the current sport we just estimate without knowledge
