I wouldn't say he's been our worst player, but I would agree that he's been underwhelming. That sitter will haunt me for a long time.

that midfield poor passing though. dying seconds and Portugal managed to level the score. very disappointing

I also drew attention to Matt Besler yesterday. He was really great, much better than Cameron... I know Besler only from Football Manager, but I'd like to see him in Europe, unfortunately he's 27 and probably will stay in USA to the end of career.
Anyway, Fabian Johnson was the best! How many kilometers he ran? And it was in Manaus (very difficult conditions)... Iron lungs. Luckily, I will watch him every few days in next season.   

Bradley is the biggest disappointment of WC for me... He had to be a "engine" of this team, and he's the worst player of USMNT.

Zusi should have started against Ghana, instead of Bedoya. I am just not sure Bradley fits in the role he has been given.

Bedoya has basically been a fullback so far. He can't really impact the game much because of Fabian Johnson making all the runs, he needs to stay back and stay disciplined. Same with Zusi, his runs in open play haven't been all that great, most likely because he has to commit more defensively than he ever really has before. But he impacted the game when he has needed to with 2 assists on our 4 goals.

Maybe Bedoya could possibly be swapped with Brad Davis but I'm not sure he can work as much as Bedoya can.

I would start Mix over Bradley against germany if I was Klinsmann.. All the chances his turnovers have lead too have been unnacceptable. Bradley just looks lost and unsure what to do with the ball when he gets it, and before he can make a decision he gets stripped and the break is on. Mix is a number 10 and will help generate more offense than Bradley can.

Been very impressed by Jermaine Jones, I think he could be a great DM for a larger European squad. That goal was well deserved for the defensive effort hes put in for both games.

Jermaine Jones was pretty good for Schalke for several years (played 185 games for them), but he always had a disciplinary problem (5 red cards and dunno how many yellows, sometimes several week long suspensions like the 8 weeks after a nasty kick against Marco Reus) and he was one of the big earners, so they decided to offload him this January.

Yeah, especially towards the end.

Johnson is an absolute powerhouse of a fullback. Way too underrated and needs more credit. Two footed, fast as hell, and a great dribbler

I'm not kidding when I say he can play with some of europes best when he plays like this. Incredible

Would take him at arsenal as the RB tbh. Though I think I'm alone on that.

Follows the wonderful tradition of fullbacks with the same last name... can be very impressive going forward but tends to have lapses defensively, especially with his positioning (see Portugal's equalizer). Think he's getting a lot of praise for his attacking runs and his defensive side is being overshadowed a bit.

Card magnet... always been an issue and he's in his 30s so it won't be changing.

Don't get me wrong, they're both very good players in their roles for the US but not really suited/ready for a CL club currently. Jones when he was younger had the stamina and tenacity for it while Johnson could still learn a bit more on the defensive side.

Well, Fabian Johnson signed up with Borussia M'gladbach from this summer on. I'm pretty sure that Lucien Favre will manage to get the best out of him and he will have the chance to test his mettle in the Europe League.
