Official: Bayern Munich sign Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias
The Bundesliga giants have confirmed that the Germany international's older sibling will join the Bavarians in the summer transfer window.

WTF why the hell would they sign a washed-up 3rd league striker? O_o
Well good for the Schweinsteigers... But weird.

So......a 30 year old to the youth team
Seems legit.
I can only think he's going to be player/manager of the youth team or something.

Re: Official: Bayern Munich sign Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias
Tobi Schweinsteiger is currently the top 3rd league goal scorer. As the Bayern II team floats somewhere in the nondescript depths of the Regionalliga (4th league), they probably hope he can help them to get back to the 3rd league in due time.

Re: Official: Bayern Munich sign Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias
Bayern should be thinking of signing players like Dzeko, Shaqiri, Dante, Sahin and if we decide to make Alaba permanent fine otherwise another a quality left back.

Re: Official: Bayern Munich sign Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias
My question: Why would the top scorer of the 3rd division want to go to a youth team in the regional league? Just to be with his brother?

Re: Official: Bayern Munich sign Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias
In the interview here he claimed that he would like to help the youngsters with his experience and that he is happy to finally be in the same club as his brother. (And frankly, I think he'll get some adequate money, too).

Re: Official: Bayern Munich sign Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias
Moreover he can be our 3rd choice striker if Olic and Petersen(loan) leave next season..
I don't mind seeing 2 Schweinsiteiger line-up just for the sake of it's coolnessless and now add Felix Kroos to that and Boateng prince.
-------------------Neuer----------------------
Lahm-----Boateng-------Badstuber-----Alaba
---------------Schweinsteiger----------------
-----------Boateng------Kroos---------------
--------------------Muller----------------------
-----Schweinsteiger-------Kroos----------------
Of course it will be a much more weaker team

Re: Official: Bayern Munich sign Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias
Dude... Tobias ain't going anywhere near the 1st team. Not even the bench.
It's clearly one of those bro deals so that he earns a little more money and fame. If it weren't for Bastian, Tobias wouldn't be at Bayern.

Re: Official: Bayern Munich sign Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias
He could turn out to be anything, he can even turn out to be our first choice striker, but he's most likely to turn out to be nothing.
looool
But then again you can say
Our Next plan, let's get Jonas Hummels and Felix Kroos. Basically blackmail Mats to come back while making sure Toni doesn't go anywhere either and then sign his father who is a coach in Rostock, we can even go for Prince Boateng and Add to that the Bender brother and Fabio and Rafael.
I mean as they say "anything is possible in football" therefore nothing is impossible, point being impossible is nothing, so If nothing is impossible in football, then is it possible for the possibility of impossibility to be impossible...?

Re: Official: Bayern Munich sign Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias
It is impossible, because even if he scores 30 goals for our second team and Gomez and Olic break their legs he would'n become our first striker

Re: Official: Bayern Munich sign Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias
I already said that he's most likely to turn out to be nothing, and impossible is nothing. So it's impossible for him to be our first choice.
BTW I am just having a laugh honestly and I do it here a lot, and some people take it too seriously and get pissed of.
