Gerrad is over-rated these days, Lucas too.
If you ask me, I think they have one of the best deference in Europe on paper, probably even better than Bayern Munich defence, we both have thesame passion but they just show it in a lesser weight on the pitch.
Re: Has Liverpool arrived to Reclaim their Days of Glory...?
I'm sure Bayern would benefit from having Lucas.

Right now he'll only be a rotational player for us if Martinez joins, Schweinstieger is starting just because of Hierarchy.
If you ask me to pick between Lucas, Martinez and Vidal.
I'm definitely going for Martinez and Vidal comes next, simply because of their Versatility.

If Martinez didn't join.

Yes of course, we received 5million offer for Tymo from dynamo kiev, if he goes we need a cover between Gustavo, Kroos, Schweinstieger and Can.
I will welcome Lucas if Martinez doesn't join for whatsoever reason.
Re: Has Liverpool arrived to Reclaim their Days of Glory...?
Hopefully he doesn't leave Liverpool. And he'd probably start along with Schweinstieger imo.

Yes probably, it's going to be between him Gustavo and Kroos, also we don't need him to be honest, he'll not improve our team, we need Martinez, simply because he can improve our midfield as well as a CB(R), He'll be a cover for Boateng our only right footed CB. (DVB is old) and also we need a tall physical player.
Re: Has Liverpool arrived to Reclaim their Days of Glory...?
Bayern need a bit of agility in that midfield imo. The team's already pretty physical.

All our midfielders are agile but not too physical like it should be in Germany, Only Gustavo is physical enough.
Re: Has Liverpool arrived to Reclaim their Days of Glory...?
honestly...it's all about giving a manager time to implement his idea.s
Of course we aren't gonna start playing like Barcelona after 2 months....I'll be disgusted if Rodgers wasn't given time to implement his project. We achieve F*CK ALL by changing plans every year and starting in year zero, which has been the case since 2010.
We need stability, and continuity if we are ever to get back to competing with the big boys.

That's why you needed Van Gaal, before Rodger, Van will bring stability for the first year and make a quality team out of youth players and sell old deadwood's, however his man management will ruin everything after he brings Liverpool back to their days of glory like he did for Bayern and that's when you sack him and bring Rogder for continuity

How can Liverpool reclaim CL football would be a more suitable headline for current times. Worry about glory after that.

Stick by Brendan Rodgers, he knows what he is doing. Give him at least 2 seasons and a bit more money to spend. Players like Carragher, Carroll and downing need to leave. Carragher promoted to be part of the coaching staff maybe. It'll take time to change the club's philosophy. Only patience and believe can allow Liverpool to get back to where they were, but this time with style and sexier.

History means nothing when we are talking about a project that started a month ago
Just like Liverpool fans to mention history though

I didn't bring Bayern in this discussion, but nevertheless Bayern could be a role model for you guys, a club you can look up to and probably get affiliated with us so you can get to sign some of our players, like Hamit, Pranjic, Hummels, Lucio, Demichelis, Van Bommel, Olic, Sosa, Tymo, DVB etc

I don't get upset i just find history irrelevant and don't like it spoke in terms like it has some relevance.
If it had any relevance you would have bought Cavani and Modric this summer

Both are better than your back-ups, Liverpool needs depth, if DVB was fit we could have won cpl last year
