Must not be because the guy who started the thread is Mexican. He lives in the US so he swam the Rio Grande to get here. IE he is is a wetback because his back is wet from swimming in the river.

It's a nickname not anything racist. It's like calling a white person cracker.

Also by definition wetback is not racism. More so a derogatory name.

On Marquez : He's a great player no doubt, but I think H. Moreno would be better. Some say they want Marquez for his experience, yet many times he has cracked under pressure. Him going wouldn't be that bad I just prefer Moreno.

Wasn't Mexico losing at that point. The fact all the Mexican u23 have like 50+ apps therefore great conditioning really helped.

Will be interesting to see how they do in the Olympics with the teams that qualified.
