Must not be because the guy who started the thread is Mexican. He lives in the US so he swam the Rio Grande to get here. IE he is is a wetback because his back is wet from swimming in the river.

It's a nickname not anything racist. It's like calling a white person cracker.

Also by definition wetback is not racism. More so a derogatory name.

On Marquez : He's a great player no doubt, but I think H. Moreno would be better. Some say they want Marquez for his experience, yet many times he has cracked under pressure. Him going wouldn't be that bad I just prefer Moreno.

On Rafa: if he cracks under the pressure at the Olympics than he should be thrown under the bus. It's 23 year olds I think he can handle himself.

Only started watching from 65', but from what I saw Mexico dominated the match.

Wasn't Mexico losing at that point. The fact all the Mexican u23 have like 50+ apps therefore great conditioning really helped.

Will be interesting to see how they do in the Olympics with the teams that qualified.

He controlled the tempo for Mexico from deep. I think his loss hurt the u23s in the finals.
Need to bring in someone that can do his job for London...like playing Marquez in midfield.

And hell yeah I'd like Guardado. Hell I'll put Jonathan Dos Santos at AM and put Guardado next to Herrera.

Vela + Chicharito is a must, though.
