I wouldn't say Mexico flopped against Italy, and Chicharito is doing what he is doing because we really have no midfield and he isn't getting service, he wouldn't do much if he stayed upfront all game.

I was talking more so about their Hex performances combined with the Italy game. I don't think a lot of Mexico fans really thought they were going to win that Italy game.

I understand why chicharito is dropping deep doing what he is doing but I don't agree with it at all. When I watch him play he doesn't really have great vision where he can be playmaking like Gio. He's a great poacher and finisher but as far as trying to do anything else I don't think he can right now, maybe on like 5 years he can develop that who knows.

I don't understand Chepo though, keep Guardado on the left, put Gio on the right, Zavala and Herrera are pretty solid together at center mid and lay jiminez and chicharito up top in a 4-4-1-1 and cross the ball. Chicharito thrives off crosses and with Jimenez up top it should be evenore successful. Just go back to the basics.

I agree man none of those players deserve to start right now. Maza has declined dramatically but CHepo had already given him the captains armband, so he will start the next WC. I like Herrera a lot but he kind of blew it vs COsta Rica. Hopefully he gets another chance. Salcido isn't too bad at lb. I just hope Chepo doesn't put him back in the midfield again.
