And to make it even more illogical, at the time the final was played (April 2011), there were only peaceful protests. Very, very few opposition members had weapons.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bashar's supporters fall for this stuff. They've already believed huge amounts of BS before, so I wouldn't put this past them Razz.
