lmao whatever bro.baresi wrote:Lets not derail this topic and go Milan vs Juve shall we, Milan are 12 points ahead of 3rd while Juve are 8 points only ahead of them, plus you still got to play them both, so I would say if you manage to beat them or at least no lose to them then you are 100%, other wise you are not safe.Cassius_Case wrote:Your only 4 points ahead of us LMAObaresi wrote:why are you writing off Juve already, if anything they are currently second and have a better chance than all the ones mentioned.

See I wasn't trolling after all.
If you want to add Juve to that list you may aswell add milan too.
Milan are only 4 points ahead of us an was very inconvincing vs Parma so if you lose one match and we win one match Juve are only 1 point behind first.
Who's to say Milan or any of the teams from 3-7th wont lose too
If you showed less juve hate you'd be an okay poster, your too hard to take seriosly when you post bullshit like you do.
anyway, i wont waste any more time with you. peaceeeeee

, this isn't who is finishing first, Juve can finish first imo, i aint writing you completely off, but with 12 points far from 3rd its tough for Milan to end third, with 8 points form 3rd and 4 points from 1st Juve can end in either positions imo.

Given the fact you have to still play 4 of the teams fighting for 3rd.

Would love to see Roma, but they lack a few players in order to play the way they want.

My personal vote is on Udinese, although I'd rather it were someone with a chance in Europe.

I would like (love) Roma to be in the CL. But I think Napoli will clinch it.
BTW, I'm really surprised & happy that Napoli, Udinese & Lazio are doing well this season too. Usually such teams have a good (great) season and then flop in the next.

I hope it's not Udinese, I am a fan of Di Natale but Udinese will get to Europe and sell people further weakening the team and poor Toto will be running about trying to make everything happen.
I would like to see Roma but my money is on Napoli.

Nah man I highly doubt it,I expect them to take their foot of the gas now that they have secured their stauts in Serie A for another season.DeviAngel wrote:Montella is doing wonders with Catania they enter the battle

I thought the same few matches ago but Montella is keen to prove him self worthy as tactician and I think he will get euro spot and will do everything to get it I really like how good he has become from tactical sense.
but still points prove that they've entered the batlle

Re: Serie A - Race for 3rd
I would love Napoli to finish third bacause they have team for CL , the others mentioned dont.I dont want to see Lazio or Udine qualifyng because we wouldnt make groups anyway.
After 38 games the table should look like this
1.Juventus
2.Milan
3.Napoli
4.Lazio
5.Roma

3rd in serie A!!! WHO IS GONNA Stay THERE STILL LAST MATCHDAY????
Lazio, Napoli, Udinese, and Roma are directly fighting for the last available UCL place. Inter (considering their 5-4 epic win over Genoa) and Catania (not so much with a chance) are also with in a shout. wonder, who is going to stay there till the last match day... My bet is on AS Roma since all their rivals are in worse shape at the moment. put your thoughts on that

Re: Serie A - Race for 3rd
Interesting that all of the contenders seem BADLY out of form, except Roma and Inter who are getting back on track fast. This is getting REALLY interesting

Re: Serie A - Race for 3rd
I would hate Udinese to get it as all they do is sell their best players, and it would be a wasted slot for Italy. I dislike Lazio so they can rot for all I care.
Roma on the hand I like, but they are not ready for the Champions League. They should start in the Europa League first as I know they can win it.
Napoli should be the one to get it hopefully.
I would like to see the table at the end of the season:
AC Milan, Juve, Napoli, Roma,...

Re: Serie A - Race for 3rd
i hope to see Roma in the UCL next season not just because they are my favorite team, they can achieve something important for Italy in terms of co-efficient... i still want Inter to be in Europe because teams like Lazio and Udinese are total waste of European spots... they are just good for nothing

I prefer Napoli or Roma to take it, really like both those teams. With the points Udi, Lazio, and Napoli have dropped in recent weeks, anything can happen.

The race for 3rd in Serie A is up there with curling and synchronized swimming as one the worst spectacles in world sport.
Nobody has the nuts to take it.
