Well there is an an exception to every rule.

But I agree with the rest. Mou's RM atm has too much momentum to stop right now.

Reminds me of the old Italian unsaid rule that after a 4 goal lead its best to pay respect to the team and just play conservative to end the match.

Allegri is a strong supporter of this and usually tells Ibra/Pato/Robinho to pull way back into the midfield

It's also healthy Arq. They could use the rest of the energy in the league eco smile

Midweek CL game is tiresome most of the time, if you could decide a game early and then switch to lower gear -> more energy left.
It's also the principle that carries Italy through WC and EC eco smile

Madrid are humble in that way. Once they score 3 or 4 goals, they usually give the other team respect. Sometimes, they even let them score a goal just to give some confidence and support.

So, out of respect, you will not see 7 goals today.

I'll take a 1-0 win with all the humbleness and respect that would make Xavi so proud. Never doubt a side with nothing to lose but quite a lot to gain.

Also never doubt Real Madrid to shoot themselves in the foot with a shotgun. Triple Barrel of course...
