Re: Juventus vs Catania
All i can say is -
Thank god Padoin and Boriello were taken off.
And as I said - Boriello wouldnt score.
Sorry but theyre not Juve material.
Looking at the bigger picture - I KNEW padoin would kick Marrone off from a bench spot - thats why I was SOOO against him coming.
Marrone > Padoin anyday for CM.
What a disappointment... a serious disappointment
Atleast we got a good result.
THIS MAY BE THE FIRST TIME MARCO MOTTA WON US A GAME!!!!!

Re: Juventus vs Catania
Marco Motta's first worthwhile Juventus contribution has came as a Catania player.
In Motta we trust. :king:

Re: Juventus vs Catania
Breaking news: a new Calciopoli has come to light which involves Juventus Football Club asking their player Marco Motta who is currently on loan to Catania to get sent off in a recent Juventus - Catania game.
No evidence is required and Juventus will be immediately deducted 30 points and disqualified from all European competitions.

Motta cant do anything right.
Cant even keep a low profile when acting as an inside informant/double agent

Re: Juventus vs Catania
Padoin was good as a CM against Milan but I agree that Marrone could be deprived playing time by Padoin! Caceres should have played as the RWB as Licht was being rested for Milan :shisha:

Completely agree on all points here.
Padoin best off as a centre mid IF he HAS to play
Caceras wouldve been better starting
Lich is the most underrated player this season I think
what a champion player
Hes probably never going to be world class, but hes just as valuable to our cause as a WC player would be

like i said..im impressed by your prediciting qualities, btw borriello was not substituted for another striker, it was for licht, so you just were wrong.

Well, we started with Boriello + Quag up front
and we ended with Vucinic + Quag
I guess you can do the calculations Johniet...

Re: Juventus vs Catania
Well it was an exciting match. Our defense was really leaky today, I personnaly don't like the 3 defender system at all.
Bonucci was a bit shaky but made a few very important tackles. Bonucci & Chiellini were great as usual.
Padoin was average, nothing exceptional, but he was doing his job.
Imo Borriello wasn't good today at all.. He held up the ball well but that was all, nothing more, nothing less.
Quags worked so hard the whole match, even though he wasted a few he was one of the best players on the pitch for us (wow that cracking crossbar!)
Pirlo nothing else to add.
Motta was terrible as always btw I was literally laughing when he got his second yellow (yea I know it's rude). At least we now know that he is bad everywhere, not just in Juve.
On a sidenote, before the match I read somewhere that ADP had a cold or something like that and Marrone had a minor injury. Lichsteiner was rested for Milan game, I'm 100% sure we will return to 4-3-3 against Milan next week.
