Line-ups: Catania-Juventus
Nicklas Bendtner and Paul Pogba get their first Juventus starts in today’s lunchtime trip to Catania.
The Bianconeri hope to extend their 47-match unbeaten run when stepping into the Stadio Massimino at 11.30am GMT.
Bendtner has so far only played 10 minutes of Serie A football, but came off the bench in the 1-1 Champions League draw with Nordsjaelland midweek.
The striker on loan from Arsenal is given his first start in the Juve jersey, partnering Mirko Vucinic.
Pogba also steps into the starting XI after his splendid goal against Napoli, the Frenchman brought in because Claudio Marchisio is injured.
Catania are one of the surprise outfits of the season so far and famously held Napoli to a draw here despite playing with 10 men for 88 minutes.
Giuseppe Bellusci, Pietro Terracciano, Blazej Augustyn and Fabio Sciacca are all long-term injury absentees.
Catania have not won this fixture since 1964-65, but do have a good recent record of causing problems for Juventus.
Catania: To follow
Juventus: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Asamoah; Bendtner, Vucinic
Juventus bench:Storari, Rubinho, Caceres, Marrone, Giaccherini, Padoin, Isla, De Ceglie, Pepe, Matri, Giovinco, Quagliarella

I just realized that Vidal is not getting a rest. Kinda weird, he looked off-form for weeks now.

I really hope Bendtner scores so he can get a run of a few games...then we can see if he is a top player or not!

LoL that's a shame. Vucinic is terrible today, hope he will be fired up in the second half, or sub in Giovinco

Not sure whether were watching the same game but there is no way we were playing good.
It is so obvious that we are physically and mentally tired. Vidal is just not himself. Our defense isnt as waterproof as last season. Even Pirlo's not waving his magic wand around the same as before.
the way the game is, Juve dont deserve more than a draw.
Poor Catania though - have to feel for them, a perfectly good goal taken away....

IT seems like we are not watching the same game apart from that goal and 2-3 counters Catania didn't even smell the ball I think few of us made such illusions this summer that we are gods ...

Completely agree...Even Licht looks flat today and he has even had a rest! We have a big squad full of top class players and yet Conte's rotations are awful! Caceres, Giaccherini and Isla could have been used many times this season to rest other players but we have always seen the same players being exhausted!

We had 55% possession whole first half. We forced andujar into 7 saves and 5 shots in the frame ... what more do u want ... I don't get it ... don't underestimate Catania that much

I will say as much as I want and u r not the man to tell me what else to do.
Juve is playing high paced games since the start of the season except in the derby games even a fool will spot that ... That's conte's tactics not to spend the players ....

Its got absolutely nothing to do with shots on goal or on target.
Im talking about the QUALITY of our play.
Every muppet knows you can play bad and win a game and vice versa.
Those stats dont mean squat when the overall team play is disjointed and tiresome.
But if you want to talk purely number - who knows - maybe if we were in prime form, we probably would be 2 goals up with 15 shots on goal.

The players are already spent bro...Conte should have made a bigger rotation in this game! Caceres and Giaccherini should have played too!
