ya im definitely at the casual fps stage....i used to be all hardcore and wanting the challenge and making myself better etc. but i just don't got the time anymore, i come home from work and log on to play with friends and have a laugh.

Halo was never my cup of tea to begin with, I own halo 3 and 4 but even when those came out and I was in my hardcore FPS stage, Halo was always 2nd fiddle to CoD for me....so now I just can't justify buying it because I know I won't play it once CoD/Battlefront comes out now that I have less time then before.

Customisation is GOAT, can literally make ur own gun paint jobs even with letters n shit. There's so far anyway not been a lot of air support at all, and futuristic shit seems balanced enough.

Managed to get online. I didn't realize this game had so much customization. It's really a shame that I can't import designs from previous games. I can't even keep track of all the things that you can customize, so most of it is in it's default state right now. I'm quite rusty and I'm not playing very well at all, but I'm still ranking 1st and 2nd in most games. Got a sweet clutch on S&D earlier. I swear, my aim is shit but I'm still beating them thanks to being able to react faster Soundwhoring is REAL in this game. I've run into a few players who heard me coming from a mile away, and they all dominated in S&D. Can't wait to get Dead Silence. I also can't wait to get a gun (smg) that doesn't have insane recoil.

Why does wall running put you off?

I liked it in the beta, opens up more ways to flank

Special abilities didn't annoy me much in the beta either, although i didn't try them all.

Double jump i agree, wall running i don't have an issue with.

I said before i actually quite liked the game itself after playing the beta and the fact most of the maps have 3 lanes like the original Black Ops is also encouraging.

Still dunno if i'm gonna get it or not though

The wall running doesn't bother me at all. Whenever I see people wallrunning, which isn't even that often, it's pretty much a free kill since people tend to struggle with shooting while running on walls. I get what you mean regarding the specialist abilities, but those don't really bother me that much either. Double jumping enemies can be mildly annoying sometimes, but it's not a big deal. I prefer a more realistic, modern day setting, but I don't think we'll see that again in CoD any time soon.

Tom: For weapon XP, you should play the limited time game mode called nuketown-something. I got tons of weapon XP that way. Can't wait to see what the new weapon attachment feature does. Looks like it involves prestiging weapons?

ICR is my go to assault rifle atm,  shoots dead straight no recoil at full auto

VMP sub machine gun is a beast close range and for rushing

Lmao was checking stuff in custom games to try guns

The last sniper is a 1 hit kill above the hip, even with a silencer. And at gun level 10 or so you can take the scope off and put on an 'elo' sight which is a red dot with no glass around the dot.

So it's essentially a 1 hit kill semi auto assault rifle.

I second that. Despite some rustiness, I've been enjoying Black Ops 3 online. I even stayed up until 2am last night, playing S&D.. although, I had to be up at 6.30am I spent too much time customizing weapon skins on weapons that I haven't even unlocked yet, lol. Do you play S&D, Nick? I'll add you once I get home tonight.
