Overall Neuer's season has been good, he even went something near 1100 minutes without conceding in all competitions and he helped Bayern top the group of death in the CL.

Xavi's recent form made me exclude him Franchise, I thought he was one of our worst players against Villareal and Real Madrid, he was just edged out by Pirlo. Either one could really be in that position, and yes I did consider Xavi's superb goalscoring record so far. Kroos was also an outside contender.

Well I felt Xavi was very good against Madrid, the only one who didnt play differently just because of the scoreline.

Puyol for example made errors in that same game. But yeah, fair enough.

I initially wanted to make team of the season before I decided to narrow it cpl...

CL is probably better, its at least easier to come up with names without leaving someone playing just as well off the list.

I'm sorry but Coentrao has shown nothing to suggest he's better than Marcelo.

Aside from a decent assist vs La Real he has shown virtually nothing going forward. Also too much is made of his defensive solidness. In our system one of the fullbacks has to support the attack or things don't flow that well.

Also FFS man how in the name of Cristiano's Lambo is Cris not in your team?

no offense to anyone and i understand that there have been a lot of good strikers / attackers this season, but , how the hell is ronaldo still missing out lol.. he has been involved in 42 percent of our goals in what is a (i presume) winning effort to get the la liga.. he was decent in the copa and cl as well with 3 in 5 in the copa and 3 in 4 in the cl

Casillas at Goal,by far the best GK this season wether shot to save ratio or performance or importance to the team.He comes out top.

I would place joe hart at second.He was crucial to City.

forward line is tough to make,Benzema and Ronaldo is a must since RM is the most goal scored team in Europe.

Messi will make it too.

Di Maria despite injuries has been the top assist man. He was banging in hattricks of assists before that. In my opinion, should be there becouse none can rack assists like he does.

Casillas so far in this season has easily been the best, has already pulled a couple wondersaves and zero mistakes.

Silva started out great and became meh

See I didn't allow my support of Milan and Madrid to affect my selection at all, I put most of them on my bench

LB is always tricky... but honestly there is nobody better than Marcelo anywhere else in the world. Maybe put Lahm in there if you want to be unoriginal.

Actually I wouldn't put Hummels as he was pretty bad in the CL and in the German NT. Even if the thought is strangely unpopular, the BL had better defenders this season. And Lahm currently doesn't deserve a spot either as he did too many mistakes.

I would put Neuer, though, for his clean sheet record in the beginning of the season. 1147 minutes over all club competitions made him all-time (!) number 4 after Edwin van der Sar (1311 min), Abel Resino Gomez (1275 min) and Vitor Baia (1191 min).
