Jose prefered Bran and Azpilicueta. So he wanted to leave. He didn't play badly or anything, just wanted more than we offferred.

It's a real shame, he would have helped so much this season, Ivanovic would have been dropped after our first game.

Luiz has been downright pathetic this season.  He's been benched for the past month (basically since his abysmal City performance).  He rarely plays CB when he comes in... he's been coming in as a sub for Motta or even starting when Motta is injured at DM.

Horrible defender this season... he singlehandedly gave City 2 goals.

They're trying to unload him this summer although it will be hard. Marquinhos has his job.

He's talking about Filipe Luis, not David Luiz.

As far as Atleti... it's hard to rate any individual defender because they play such a compact and team oriented defensive style. Nobody is left alone. You always have cover. So when you go on a team where you're left on an island and you can't be as aggressive, the results may be different.

Yes, these statistics don't factor strenght of a league in,  if that's what you mean. If they did Godin would be there and Zlatan probably wouldn't be there either.

CL has nothing to do with relative performance, but luck of the draw. City also almost knocked Real Uefadrid out, who were resting to that point whole competition.

City got no where near knocking out Madrid...what are you on?
