Re: How good is Schalke?
Yes.
But they're not that great, I mean they got a decent squad and all, but they will probably lack the consistency to win it in the end.
They're decent enough to deserve a CL spot though, and them winning the league wouldn't be undeserved either, I just think they'll crumble and end up third behind Dortmund/Bayern. Maybe even get pushed to relegation by BMG.
EDIT: NOT RELEGATION FFS, qualifiers, UCL qualifiers, lol.

Re: How good is Schalke?
Well it's Schalke so they won't win the league (cursed trololol)
I hope they do win the league though. They have probably the most loyal fans ever, they deserve a league after these many years.
fun fact: Schalke sell out their stadium even when they play away from home. They set up a giant screen for everyone to watch the game.

Re: How good is Schalke?
Schalke simply deserves a title because Dortmund got one. And those two clubs have the most loyal fans in all of Germany.
And they're funny as hell as well.

Agreed, some of the banter that goes on between the two is pretty hilarious.

Re: How good is Schalke?
They have a good, young team, a decent bench and are gaining huge momentum, but as usual they will crumble to pressure during the later stages of the competition. They deserve a CL spot.
It's great now there are 4 CL spots so more teams get more moneys to strengthen

Re: How good is Schalke?
Well, the Hunter thinks they can win it
I think it is possible, as everything in the BL is possible, but not too likely. Dortmund and Bayern are trying to win, too, after all. And I'm secretly cheering on Borussia Mönchengladbach to maybe cause a real upset after they just escaped relegation last season.

I started following Schalke when Raul went, and though they were terrible in the league last season, theyre very good and I really hope they win the BuLi.

Re: How good is Schalke?
Imho their defense is on par with Bayern and Dortmund..they really have a beastly centre-back pairing.
Its in midfield where Bayern beats most of the Bundesliga teams and ofcourse they have experienced International players..
Also BVB and Gladbach have no European commitments..
they will definitely finish in CL places maybe even an automatic cl place finish..
