Motta wants to join PSG
Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has revealed that Thiago Motta wants to join the club but Inter are reluctant to let him go.
Motta's agent claimed during the week that Wednesday's Coppa Italia clash with Napoli could be his client's last game for the Nerazzurri.
However, the midfielder is still an Inter player and Leonardo has admitted that while PSG remain hopeful of signing the Italy international, they are reluctant to force the issue.
"The situation is very clear," the former Nerazzurri coach explained during a press conference in Paris, which had been called to announce the signing of defender Alex from Chelsea.
"We have very good relations both with Inter and the player himself.
"You should know that Inter want to keep him but that Motta wants to come. And that's really something very important to us.
"So we will try to reach an agreement with his club that would suit everyone. It would be a real plus for the club but for now, we respect his contract [with Inter]."
While Leonardo is not giving up on Motta, he reiterated that PSG have ended their pursuit of Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
"The negotiations were halted five days ago," he declared. "Yes, we spoke, we made offers, even if written offers in newspapers have been exaggerated. But, in the end, nothing has been concluded.
"Anyway, let's be clear, there is no possibility that it will happen this winter because there is now no space with the arrival of Alex."
PSG currently sit three points clear of Montpellier at the top of Ligue 1 ahead of Saturday's trip to Brest.

Personally, i think Leonardos life long goal was to make the city of Milan hate him. He coached Milan, we thrashed them in the derby, then he coached Inter, they thrashed US in the derby. And then he goes to PSG and tries taking away Milan and Inter's players, having links to Pato, Motta, and pretty much every Milan and Inter player out there, also going after Tevez, who both Milan and Inter were following for a while.
EDIT:
he should coach JuBe next.

Re: Motta wants to join PSG
Now that Inter are doing well (also thx to Motta) it would be stupid to sell him now.. I'am not against selling Motta (unless Inter get a good replacement cough cough Banega) But right now ???? It is stupid..

Re: Motta wants to join PSG
if these talks were happening at the start of the mercato, i would have been a lot happier. i am not against selling motta, but now we cannot get a better replacement, and that is not cup tied. unless we get naingolan or someone as good as motta, its very stupid to sell him

Re: Motta wants to join PSG
I wanted us to keep him but he can GTFO if he wants to leave, what's the point of keeping a player who clearly wants a bigger wage at another club. And by the number of games he's injured for he's already overpaid.

LOL Motta can jog on, Inter dont even need him. I remember when Buffon was going to tear him a new throat.
