Re: pepe "warned"
Justice is served.
Barcelona have yet to get a single ounce of punishment for their diving/stamping/assaulting the crowd, Pepe stepping lightly on Messi's hand deserves nothing.

Maybe you should change your username to Jiopsi or Benin
Or he could of posted the video in a thread that was relevant.
Or you can continue crying about supposed unfair treatment..whichever.
Nah I like my idea best

I felt on that particular issue it was better if I didn't post my opinion in the thread. I don't think it's necessary for you to question my posting, as long as I post within the rules of the forum.St_Nick09_of_Goal wrote:Lionel Messi wrote:Well how is what I said wrong? So for you it only comes to whether or not something is interesting? how about judging it for what it was and calling it disgusting just like you did for Pepe's action?
your response just illustrates the point i was making, for you and your mob, it only comes down to whether or not there is drama. your response read "it's not good looking for me as a barca fan, i better not comment". you make complete disregard of the seriousness of some situations, and only take part, insult, and berate players when it's "interesting" to do so. How about not showing such double standards?

Villa elbowed Arbeloa before "the stamp" this hardly gets mentioned.

tell that to Fergusson, Neville detailed very well how they engaged in bullying Arsenal to stop them.
And thank you for confirming, the things the lots of you say are shameful.

What's the point of this guys......I'm sad that this is going on in a thread that neither DMC or Jiopsi has yet to post in.

We wore an "Animo Abidal" shirt last year. That easily wins the fair play award imo.

Re: pepe "warned"
My stance on things like that is still adamant, it doesn't belong in the game, but Villa doesn't have a lengthy history of violence like Pepe does so I'm more inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Anyway, it's not my job to judge if it was intentional or not, that's up to the RFEF.

I have no issue with hard tackling. It is the off the ball fouls that gets to me.
Anyway, i am talking about a whole bunch of Madrid fans openly supporting that dirty behaviour by claiming it was to stop the diving. Never saw any Madrid fan openly condemn the players for that. I am not talking about the tackling. I am only talking about the off the ball kicks and shoves.

... So Villa should not have been banned because it was a one off and pepe should even though he was punished everytime?

Re: pepe "warned"
Typical.
We talking about Pepe doing wrong and then the celebration of such from certain posters and denial of it from the lunatic ones.
Bring up past Barca issues, all of which highly debatable.
Someone will say, both teams have done wrong.
Mix unfair treatment and mod bias in there somewhere.
Conclusion, we arent talking about the original issue anymore.

Re: pepe "warned"
I've seen Villa slap other players and elbow someone in the ribs. So yeah he sort of does have a history.
Well if OP is true it doesn't seem that RFEF considers what Epep did as intentional either. :lucas:
It may not be you're job but you can always give your true opinion.

Villa should have banned if he was found guilty.jibers wrote:Lionel Messi wrote:My stance on things like that is still adamant, it doesn't belong in the game, but Villa doesn't have a lengthy history of violence like Pepe does so I'm more inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Zealous, in my opinion it looked intentional, it was a pretty nasty thing to do and that kind of thing has no place on a football pitch imo. He deserved to be punished and sent off by the referee.

Tiki taka, like Neruda's poems, do not belong to a person or people but to everyone who loves football or literature.
