Be that as it may I'm not happy about it. It's not just you, the others take blame as well unless you all aren't on the same page.

All I'm saying is that a rule was set, I'd like to see that rule enforced.

That's all I have to say on the matter. I'd appreciate it if you take my comments into consideration with the other mods as well. I'm sorry if you felt that I was insinuating that there was a clear bias, I was merely voicing discontent.

I also apologise for not just saying what I felt instead of the passive aggressive bs I was spewing earlier. In retrospect that was very silly of me.

I'd like to add that I understand that being a mod is hard and I don't hold any grudges against you specifically like I said my issue is with the action taken (or not taken).

The rule firstly was set in force post making of that thread, im pretty sure of that.

Second, clearly, if it wasnt closed, it wasnt due to us not being on the same page, simply put, it wasnt deemed as such untill that point.

The rule isnt close every Madrid-Barca controversial thread. Its at our judgement of course.

Do you honestly believe Red and JD wouldnt close that thread if they thought it should be before the point it was closed?

Red being the most strict amoung us and JD obviously being a Madrid fan.

Jiopsi had some kind of thread, roughly about bad decisions from refs which favoured Madrid and called it a scandel.

Not 100% sure of the content of the entire thread, but towards then end and now some feel it should of been closed the same way other threads have been.

Mods didnt close it because they didnt feel it correct to.

It eventually did got closed.

BTW this is clearly DOMA, I should close this thread but seeing as I may be the online mod on ill bend the rules because this discussion is clearly coming to an end and closing it now would be a waste of time.

I'm mad as well TBH, both my warnings have come off personal insults directed at Jiopsi and I think it's a bit unfair that the guy does just enough to stay within the rules of the forum and is allowed to endlessly goad other members, but say what yo.I could care less it's a football forum, online....it isn't hurting my life wether I'm at 50 or 100 %.

Mate, you realise Jiopsi is on 50%, same as Sport was, and actually doesnt do what Sport did on any sort of regular basis?

I have got into with the guy previously about certain things and makes some lets say, unneded and borderline posts, but no, he didnt do what Sport did.

Unneeded and borderline posts is what he deals in, he does just enough to offend and too little to be punished.

Lets just say that to be absolutely fair(Not blaming anyone BTW) he would've been banned by now.The existence of about 10 scandal threads littered across the forum is testament.

La Liga scandal threads are all stupid threads that really won't go anywhere. I don't understand why Barca and Madrid posters give each other so much flak. I understand that they are rival clubs and if I'm being honest, I hate Madrid with a passion, and I guess how I can see how some of that carries over to fans. Same for Madrid fans to Barca.

But both teams will get away with things, in the end things have a way of balancing themselves out. If there is a problem of corruption, it will be looked into i.e. Calcipoli. Why is there such a need to scream corruption at every single decision that doesn't go your way? It happens a lot. Get over it.

For Barca fans- we've been hated here for quite a while. Boy, the time in v-bull was ridiculous with the hatred for Barca. Why would one go and have a go at Madrid now that they are not exactly well liked? You got the same treatment, I understand you might want some 'revenge' or something, but I really don't get it. I like most of the Madrid posters here. Just because they support what I or you might perceive as an 'evil' club doesn't mean they're bad people. They don't deserve all the hatred.

As for Madrid fans- you guys dished it out on Barca, just because you're starting to get some of the same doesn't mean you should whine and cry. It sucks, but with common courtesy the worst you'll receive is some mild bashing about your club. Get over it.

Also at the end of the day, it's a forum. Lighten up, lol. You should have fun, not get riled up and a -25%, unless you're trolling.

Dunno why I took the time to post that. I guess I just wanted to kind of vent a little bit of the thoughts I get when I see all these crap Madrid vs Barca threads get out of hand.

I would just like to make a point about Jiopsi's threads..

Correct me if I'm wrong, he created five scandal threads, one of those(part 3) was made by Gil.

All 6 of them were closed.

Only 2 threads were able reach more than 2 pages.. those two were part 2 and part 3(the one from Gil) the rest was immediately closed for obvious reasons. Some of you stop exaggerating.

Both Jiopsi's warnings if i can still remember were from creating these kinds of threads.

It's really sad seeing Dandy the Pony here being accused of Bias as he is not the only one here closing threads especially concerning the Madrid v Barca pillow fight. Both sets of fans get punished as we see em fit.

Now let's go back on topic to avoid this thread being closed eh?
