At several points in the match (spread out throughout the entirety of the 90 mins, btw), there were literally 10 men in the box with Crouch being the lone "attacker." Even he was still in the Stoke half.

One of the worst matches I've ever watched...

I understand defending a lead, and the strategic merits of negative football. However, playing for a draw for the full 90 mins is an absolutely wretched strategy to watch for either set of supporters.
