@1:50 - On a brake out, he passes the ball to ozil in the middle instead of dribbling when he had space forward... and THEN when he was open to the right for a simple pass on goal, Ozil instead passed to higuain who couldn't get the ball and killed the counter attack.

@ 2:03, he had a shooting chance with his preferred right foot, but instead opted out to provide Khedira a backheel lay off which created a very good chance on goal.

@ 2:23 he again created a chance by crossing the ball in from right win for attatcking madrid players.

@2:35 he again crossed to the box from right win and almost created a goal scoring chance if not for a top notch malaga defending.

@ 2:42, instead of keeping dribbiling into the empty space in front of him, he gave a through ball to a striker.. who couldn't make much of it due to lack of pace and bad attacking positioning, but still ronaldo chose to pass the ball instead of dribbling when he did have the space.

@3:08 he got the pass from a player to the left, and passed in front back to the player who's run never came... but which should have obviously come because that was the only good passing option for ronaldo as he was outnumbered by 3 defenders..

@4:32 againt instead of over dribbling he passed to his fellow attacking player while on counter attack but that player's attack positioing was not good and provided no support for him as the pass went astray..


All in all a very good passing game from him and also in a sense of creating chances, made 2 mistakes in all game as i could see..

People if you don't believe me, watch the video.. after a slow start he did pass and create chances.. and the support for him while attack was very horrible...

Problem with Silva is that having him in the lineup would probably reduce Madrid's potency. Him, Ozil, and Di Maria are all providers, none of them have a reliable eye for goal. I would much rather have Neymar or Hazard replace CR7.

but Hazard is not much better finisher Silva.. maybe Neymar but his still with no experience in Europe [he's still 19 ].

di maria and silva would not score as much as you want, you need balance, you need a wide forward, or you turn into Arsenal who cant do anything without RVP. Even Bayern is playing with Mueller and Gomez. Hazard is not a scorer either.

Alonso,Benzema, Ozil, & DiMaria ar playing way more important role.. even Marcelo is being a bigger threat than Cristiano is creating chances/space..

He's finishing when it comes to playing times, is less than Higuain/Benzema's %.
