Re: The Movie House
For the fun factor the Avengers owns anything you put it up against. Perfect switch-your-brain off movie. Can appeal to anyone from kids to adults.
TDK is definitely the better movie.
I personally felt the individual Marvel guys' movies weren't that good. Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America were pretty meh.

I liked Thor a good amount, but yeah I agree they have had a lot of their movies not live up to the hype.

Re: The Movie House
Thor wasn't that bad honestly. Last 40 minutes or so were awesome. Asgard looked fantastic and Idris Elba as Heimdall turned out to be my favorite character in the movie.
Will probably see the Avengers tonight or tomorrow afternoon. No expectations.

Neal- you have to see it.
Pure entertainment.
I also saw American Pie Reunion, I was expected a horrible movie but it was actually very funny. Not better than the originals of course but still worth while. I would see The Avengers before APR tho.

The Mist
Great f***ing movie...

- Spoiler:
- IMO it would have been better if the army doesn't show in the end and the mist remains.Kind of cheapened the film...

I know exactly which ones you're talking about.
- Spoiler:
- The bit when he punches Thor, right after they beat up those enemies.
and..
- Spoiler:
- The bit when he pounds Loki onto the ground like a rag doll. lol

Just got back from seeing this movie....good gawd that was awesome!
Epic and so large scale in all its glory.

Re: The Movie House
great movie, a solid 8 out of 10, the cinema was packed and all the shows were sold out, had to go to a 3d (hate 3d, i think its a ripoff), nonetheless movie was awesome, i expected it to be a bit corny with a dull story line, but it proved me wrong. Though people in the cinema overreacted, such fan boys.
- Spoiler:
- It got me confused with Hulk. So from my understanding there are 3 characters living inside of this guy. 1- Banner, 2 - Angry Hulk, that pops out on accident and 3 - Hybrid, Hulk and Banner in balance) Kind of stupid.

Re: The Movie House
8/10?
More like 12/10
Such a goat movie.
As for the hulk don't go to in depth with it. It's Dr. Banner then 1 Hulk.
Either raging or somewhat in control.
But not 3 different personas. Well IMO

Re: The Movie House
Is 'the avengers' any different from a typical Michael Bay film except that it feature the superheroes whom you worshiped as a child(or still does)?
